It's funny, because leading up to the series Jordan was always known for his high flying acrobatics but Clyde was starting to become known more for his outside shooting. In the Finals, it was a role reversal.
bulls champs 1991 1992 1993 1996 1997 1998 2:13 left in the 3rd quarter 73 to 58 blazers with the lead in game 6 bulls somehow win not in overtime they won the championship
Joe Dumar 6'2 undersized. Gary Paytn 6'2 undersized. He's talking about a person that could 1v1 Jordan with the same body size, mass, and speed. Drexler was possibly the only one who could do that in the 90s.
the 92 Bulls had a better bench, frontcourt, shooting, etc...plus they faced stiffer competition...MJ and Pippen was at the prime of their careers...
The 96 Bulls were great...top 5 all time...but definitely not number 1...lacking in the frontcourt depth with Longley and Wennington...Rodman was their only real inside presence
My favourite memory of that series, as a Portland fan, was how the Blazers bounced back in Game 2 after Jordan annihilated them in Game 1. Beat that same Chicago team by 11 in OT.
Of course my worst memory from that series was Portland just going ice cold in the 4th of Game 6.

Jordan destroyed Drexler
Eric0816 2 years ago
@temozarela10 I agree that Clyde was a great player. Only other guy in the 90's who could stand any chance of stopping Jordan was Pippen.
Hey, they forgot the missed Pippen free throw when Jordan came in for the follow up dunk.
EdmondLau2007 1 year ago
@EdmondLau2007 Pippen couldn't fuck with MJ either...

drexler was the only challenge for jordan at the guard position because he could defend and score against him.

the best Bulls team of the 90's...better than the 96 Bulls team
better depth, inside presence, bench, shooting, etc plus a prime MJ

you must be retarded. how can that team be better than the 72 win team?

then why didn't they win 72 games that year? the second repeat is much more impressive than the first one.
liweiwu007 2 years ago 2
because the league was not as good in 96 maybe?

Hey moron, he's right.
There were two new expansion teams the year Chicago won 72. The 1992 Bulls were probably every bit as good as the 1996 team.

where is the alleyoop inbound pass to jordan in game 1? i think it should in the list.
