@babaylanmumbaki pwede ba wag mo na man cla husgahan... pag simbahan na nga kinakanta nila binabastos mo pa rin cla... tpos kung makainsulto ka italian pa gamit mo. i tagalog mo na lang kaya... kapal mo talaga... DAPAT IKAW ANG HINDI KUMANTA NITO KASI WALA KANG KAGANDAHANG ASAL : ) OH? ANGAL KA PA? O BAKA GUSTO MO DIN I TRANSLATE PA YAN SA ITALIAN. I just hope that dexterities and music of wont be limited to SELECTED PEOPLE. mabuhay pa rin ang madz...
Hoy mapagpanggap ka diba Filipino ka rin naman, ikaw kaya mo ba kantahin yan, umayos ka, walang puwang ang pangit na comment sa ganitong mga classic group of singers like you lalo na wala ka rin K.
i wonder if those who commented have ever heard Poulenc's choral pieces, much less heard the Madz sing Poulenc's works in a concert. for them to doubt that this is really Madz. if one felt disturbed listening to this, then the singers here did a great job since the harmonies aren't what you may call typical, just as marlonization said. i've experienced singing Francis Poulenc's Stabat Mater with no less than a French conductor at the helm and this sounded much like how he handled the material
Please, please, this is not the real Madrigal Singers. I can"t stand listening to it , Phrasing and quality of voices are entirely different from the original Madz. Sorry, but this my opinion.
Most of the songs composed by Francis Poulenc are really difficult to sing because the arrangements are not the usual type that you hear for choral music. We've sung this song last january Feb. 2004 at the Bamboo Organ Church in Last Piñas City, Philippines.
It's really the Philippine Madrigal Singers. This was taken from Chris Borela's conducting recital last March. Most of the singers here are the new members and the trainees. Some of the old ones are here too, like Liaa, Melody, Bianca. Mark Carpio was also present playing the organ along with Mr. Eudy Palaruan.
OMG, this can't be The Philippine Madrigal Singers!! The conductor should learn more of Poulenc's style and the harmony. This must be the trainees or the left over singers. What a shame!!!
This is actually the Philippine Madrigal Singers with the new members and trainees. This was recorded from the recital of the Assistant Conductor of the group, Chris Borela, last year. We were there so i can definitely say that this is the Madz.
Go, go, go, Madz! Raise our Philippine flag everywhere you go through your superb music. God bless you always.

no offense meant, i've been idolizing madz since, but this rendition of salve regina by Poulenc by them did not turn out to be commendable.

to avoid confusion, the author should either change the title or put some additional info on this video. Are the trainees already considered as Madz?
