@Qwerti60 no my dear friend, it's greek lavta. there's another type of lavta which is called ottoman lavta, it has a smaller body and keyboard, almost like a mandoline. but unfortunately it's found rarely in shops here in istanbul.
by the way, for the record, lavta is the constantinople version of arabic oud. some calls it as "constantinopolean oud".
I said Lavta. There is only one type of Lavta and no more! It's a mistake to call it a type of Oud because the Lavta retained the origional string number of the lute while to the oud were added many strings

So there are two types of Lavta the Greek-Oud type, and the Turkish type which Simla-Erkan uses
