Homemade CNC Router Moving at full cutting speed

@bmillmine If I had to changes anything It would be the wiring. I will be rerouting the wiring later this year to try to eliminate cross talk, now it's all crammed together. I have cut thousands of parts and the only problem was the spindle motor went out after about 1600 hours of use. Everything else works great

How precise is the cut as the rack and pinion teeth look quite large to give a very accurate cut to mm or less but i might be wrong.

@iykist it is very accurate the teeth mesh together and can creat 0 back lash it takes some fine tooning every now and then. At full speed about 0.01" at full speed and about 0.005" at half speed. I mostly machine plastic parts so this is more then good enough.

How does that spindle work for you? It looks like one of the cheaper water cooled ones sold on ebay that I'm looking at buying.

Now that is a very cool design. Gear teeth instead of leadscrews, I'd love to see more video of that machine.
