Well, for Sydney, there's no official groups, although you'll probably find some meetings if you look at the OzFurry Mailing List.

There's also yearly furry conventions in Sydney, aka FurJAM.

Sydney's not as active, but regardless there's quite a few meets, you've just got to know where to look.

Also, don't worry about age, furmeets are mainly meant for all ages, although 16 or higher is more accepted.
