A sad yet beautiful part of Turkey. Some people feel history has never happened. Yes, originally this area was central part of Armenia but now it is Turkey. Just like New York is no longer a village for local native tribes but a city in the US. As for me, I enjoy whatever place, its people, its history and geography. I recommend a trip to this part of Turkey if you enjoy history and are a bit hardy traveller. Friendly people also.
