  • Obesity is fat cell disregulation via their receptors. Fat cells in HOARD MODE are NOT cooperating. In severelly obese people studies show that understarvation conditions the body will ravage brain, organs, and muscle mass long before it touches fat.

    This is a disease state. Obesity is a disease state. Manuel Uribe cannot be currently helped. The caloric hypothesis is dead. it is more than time to move on from a failed dogma and let obese poeple recover from their disease.

  • @ObesityMyth Treating morbid obesity is different than saying that exercise will not help obesity or lose more than "1-2 pounds tops". Morbid obesity has very many issues that result from more than just a lack of exercise. Will only adding exercise "cure" morbid obesity? No. Morbid obesity comes from terrible nutrition generally caused by stress eating or emotional eating disorders, on top of lack of exercise. Obesity is not a hereditary thing. If you think it is you have no concept of reality.
