@kjw21411 I took the background of the title, masked a part of it, and put it over "fish". Then I masked the letters from the title put it over that. Sony Vegas 6 is capable

In event FX, there was a "Mask Generator", but that just changes the video to black and white and you can decide how bright it will be. Wait, am I just supposed to crop the video, then make a copy, then put it on the other part? Or is there something else that I'm just missing?
@kjw21411 It's in event pan/crop. You have to mask a still image from the video and make a copy/copies of it and put it over the original video. You also have to position the masked part to put it where you want it to be.

You have to piece together different sounds from a character's dialogue to make new words.
