In America, we're given the idea that it's mostly caucasians.

Well the entire country itself is probably mostly caucasian but in major cities its probably gets around an even split. Although in some suburban areas like the one i live in, to find a caucasian is a rare sight. I assume its more or less the same in America.

Ahahah. In America, it's quite different. In Los Angeles, it's split into different areas. Central L.A, and everything south of it is mostly African-American. Koreatown is about 70/30 Mexicans to Koreans respectively. And the rest of California is mostly Hispanics with a minority of whites (except in the northern areas of California, where caucasians are more common).

lol. Wow. African-Canadians are as common as caucasians in the suburb that I live in, and same goes for Hispanics. Really, the only area i see that have a fairly populated area of african-canadians and hispanics is ironically right next to chinatown.

this is kinda a delayed comment, but thought i'd mention that cities like Vancouver and Toronto are some of the most diverse cities in the world. UBC is also known as University of Billion Chinese, and U of Waterloo has alot of asians, because its a prestigous school and generally attract plenty of smart kids from all over the world. us asians generally populate the bigger cities in Canada, while smaller hick towns are primarily caucasians
