  • If you like old silent horror movies you might want to check out Volkodlak on my channel.

  • where did you get this film?

  • YEAH! It's great to have a movie version of this story especially since an affordable copy of the book is so hard to find!

  • iamamiwhoami!

  • just finished reading roots of evil. and her e i am searching for alraune on youtube,

  • Vielen Dank, dass Sie für den Film!!

  • Wow, i love you! As a kid growing up in this new day and age, I heard about the Alraune story and I was intrigued. I tried to find the 1952 version (the most recent, english dubbed) but I could not. While I wait for AMC to air it on TV one day, I finally settled down to the good old silent, black and white version. I DON'T REGRET IT! Thank you! :D

  • Thank you for uploading!!!!

  • I feel sorry for the prostitute who must have realized she just walked into a serial killers type lair.

  • Brigitte Helm has been one of my favourite actors.During her lifetime, she had no idea how much of an impact she had to the German silent cinema and the world in general!

  • Mouth drops open! Keep up the great work. I love German films from the silent era. Particularly hard to find ones like this. If you encounter any about the Habsburgs and post those, you'll make my day!

  • @mglory67

I second that emotion.....the best European silents usually came from Germany.

  • You rock! I've been looking for this version for years, but never thought about going to YouTube. Excellent!
