Wow, i love you! As a kid growing up in this new day and age, I heard about the Alraune story and I was intrigued. I tried to find the 1952 version (the most recent, english dubbed) but I could not. While I wait for AMC to air it on TV one day, I finally settled down to the good old silent, black and white version. I DON'T REGRET IT! Thank you! :D

I have the book by author Sarah Rayne titled
Roots of Evil and in the author's note it speaks of this movie...so I decided to look up Alraune on YOUTUBE figuring some incredibly smart person would upload something...and here it is...thank you so much...this YOUTUBE is just phenomenal to me. It makes me really happy : ) Thank you!

Brigitte Helm has been one of my favourite actors.During her lifetime, she had no idea how much of an impact she had to the German silent cinema and the world in general!
