i got a ath64 x2 6000+, 4gigs of ram and a 8600gts with 640mb vram and i got with all low 30fps.

this is the way l play on p4 2.8 and 1.5 gb ram on same card on agpx8

and you have a dual core too

Sell that card and get a 4670  , It should make a decent difference ,....

Maybe Windows 7 might help (It's my favorite ,Vista was junk) X.P was great , but win 7 is the best now , I think....

but I heard GTA IV works better with a Quad-Core and some people say GTA IV is more of a processor game than GPU Game so a better CPU gives better performance

i got the same card but only runs at 9fps u need it to run at about 17 for it to be enjoyable

Why is this failing, it seems to run pretty well. I get about 1-2 FPS on my laptop, THAT is failing.

dude what version of ati radeon hd 3450 do you have???? i have the best one witch is vision tek's version and ican play crysis and far cry 2 sooooo you not doing something right. try turning the AA or the AP off.

well for gta 4 u need at least 4800 series to play it at recommended... but with low settings, ur doing great...

your graphics card is weak hd3450 is very bad for gaming,if u wanna play games and not to waste much money,look for ati hd3650 or hd 4850

This isn't going to work. Your video card and CPU are the bottlenecks.
