  • Awesome video, nice plane, and great song !!! Thanx for posting!!!

  • wat set up did you use to convert to electric ?? TY LOVE THE VID

  • i tryed to fix it but i couldnt put the piston back in the sleave

  • i had the exact same plane and it kept breaking blades, and then one landing was so hard it broke a blade and damaged the cylinder head

  • nice flying plane and music but will those rubber bands keeps the wing on good or will they fall off

  • the alpha 40 is one of the most reliable planes ive ever flew, and i personally thinks its one of the most low maitnence planes out there

  • I like this plane, the flight, and the song-5 stars! Thanks for sharing this. I have the Alpha Sport 450, both are great airframes.

  • um you are supposed to have 2 rubber bands for each pound the plane weighs holding the wing on. you have four. you should have around 14.

  • @mrfourtysevenman Since that video was taken, I've been flying with 8... the plane weighs around 4 lbs (converted to electric a while ago), and this combination seems to work exceedingly well.

  • @mrfourtysevenman Also, this particular plane is flying under autopilot most of the time, and since I've set the PID gains pretty low, it hardly ever puts any stress on the airframe. Even under strong loops and rolls near full throttle, I've never broken a band yet. :)

  • finally someone who knows REAL music!

  • good video

  • im getting the hangar9 alpha 40 this weakend

  • @MrCoward24 same here

  • wow that engine sounds great !

    mikey da man

  • How many rubber bands are you useing,it seems like only 4

  • Year great not if it hit you in the face.....hahaha then????????

  • did u glow the wings or not? very good flying

  • Nice flight!

Can you answer a few questions?

I'm looking at the Alpha 40 DSM2 that comes with the spektrum 5 channel 2.4GHz

    This plane and stable?

    It's easy to drive?

    Is fast?

It has a beautiful sound? (I love the sound of airplanes)

    It has a good match?

    It's good for beginners?

    5 stars

  • this is the best, cheapest, most durable, easy to fly, beginner plane you can buy. the new alpha 40 comes with a dx5 spectrum tr/rx you cant beat that! if you have any more questions i would be glad to answer them for you. the price is around $299.00 (usd) brand new in the box.

  • please help i just bought this plane rtf and am having problems starting it with the chicken stick am i doing somthing wrong i dont get it please help im getting frustrated

  • @Unboltedsteak i had the same problem i also got frustrated i know the chicken stick sucks for first start you need a electric starter not very expensive but well worth the money and the pulled muscle you will get trying to start the plane (horizon hobby has them for about 35.00 usd)

  • @tomasadorabatatafrit i have the same plane it flies great but i upgraded to a dx6i radio for it the plane is very stable, easy to fly if you have some rc experience, top speed is about 50 mph in zero wind faster if you have a good tail wind, good match motor to plane, very strong motor for the plane, awesome for beginners to learn on and gain their wings on,,,, i love my Alpha 40

  • great filming really steady and great quality!

    5/5

  • Nice!!!
