  • 6 of the 7 top bridge strings are the 1 and 5 of the given key (C and G for "key" of C) with the main string tuned to 4 (F in "key" of C). The lower 16 or so strings are tuned chromatically and are tuned to the scale used in the Song, Gat, Raga, Ditty, Number of choice. For more information, refer to someone from India.
