love the tune big time and just watched the movie again... man let me tell you this movie is emotionally draining even if you have seen it a bunch of times like me
Es muy simple. Parkening es genial tocando cualquier obra, desde un gran concierto hasta una bella cancion popular. Siempre tiene un gusto exquisito al escoger su repertorio, y en esta interpretación nos regala nuevamente la belleza de su alma.
He plays just as perfect as can be, except for the grunting. I went to his concert many years ago, and i blamed it on an old man whose eyes were closed. I thought he was snoring. Later i realized it was from the guitarist. He seemed to grunt only sometimes. He probably stopped the grunting by now.
@Stephen7475 Sometimes singing the part under one's breath can result in pacing the guitar playing as if it was being sung. Glenn Gould used to sort of sing along too, among many other great players. I remember the first time I went to see live ballet. On TV it was always dead silent except for the music, but in real life, there are bumps, squeaks and costumes ruffling.
^^" simply love it...

Surely Parkening can find better material...this is just sappy.
He has access to a whole world of composers yet he revisits a piece already covered by major players.
Come on, Chris! Be bold...seek out some better material than commercial crowd pleasers.

Wonderful tempo, not rushed through, with a lot of sensitivity and feeling.
