If you're referring to the Sam Neill film this isn't the sequel, its an independent project. The sequel to Merlin is called Merlin's Apprentice and its still got Sam Neill in. Never seen it so I can't say if its any good

I saw it a few years ago before I'd actually seen Merlin. From what I can remember it was pretty good, though unlike the first movie it doesn't have any actual Legend of King Arthur connections as far as I know.
