This video should be viewed as black and white, because very few people had colour tv's in the Soviet Union 1976. They where very expensive and hard to get. Color tv set (if available) costs tens of months of averege workers pay. And they where often set on fire.

the speech was about all great successes of former soviet union at that time, about how soviets handled there economics and all international issues with the western world and so on...but if you knew Russian you would have a real fun :)

Brezhnev died in November 1982 at the age of 75. To today's 75 is not that old but I guess to Russia's standards it is old. But what killed Brezhnev was not old age, it was poor health and drug addiction. Brezhnev was especially addicted to pain killers which caused him to have several strokes beginning in the mid 1970s.
