One of his last animated works was the first episode of "Stories from the Bible" (The Genesis).

It is a series that was commissioned by our RAI Tv and the Vatican, and completed after his death. The first episode is particularly fascinating, for the way Tezuka depicts the "serpent" in Eden, and the dinosaurs after the fall.

Yet, it was Tezuka who pioneered the half-hour Japanese TV cartoon series, and made it "profitable". Once "TETSUWAN ATOM" became a success in early 1963, other Japanese studios followed [TCJ, Tatsunoko, etc.], with most of their series coming to the U.S. There is ONE connection, though; Pablo Zavala, who worked with Fred Ladd as an editor on "ASTRO BOY", eventually set up his own production company, Zavala-Riss...and they translated "MACH GO-GO-GO" into "SPEED RACER" in '67...

Dr.Tezuka is the father of all animation of 1960's he Made all from speed racer to kimba to all his cartoons a great fellow..who did it his way

He had nothing to do with Speed Racer, that was Tatsuo Yoshida and Tatsunoko.
