I drove one of those with the 11th ACR in Ft. Irwin....what's the history on this one? Where did you guys pick it up from?

I heard that if the gun was fired while the turret was turned sideways, the tank would fall over, ie the gun recoil would flip the tank over

The thing had a kick but not that bad. I drove one from 1974/1976 in the 1/2 ACR all in all a good track.

@Suzuki750E That's because they mounted a gun far larger than the chassis could handle. It was such a light tank, designed for jungle warfare. So light that it could be airdropped.
