Why does my music cut out????? It started doing this when I moved from Ohio to Florida???? SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO aggrivating. Any suggestions???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
Wow! Awesome, did not know about this and I am a hard-core Stevie fan! Just goes to show you how much that woman performed with others not just the mainstream we all know. You can certainly distinctly hear her singing in the background.
@studiosinger Umm, I believe Stevie was just lending back-up vocals. I don't think her purpose there was a duet so you can't say he overpowered her. And Todd never liked performing this song for some reason, either. Go figure...it's a great song.
@sunshineshine77 ~and you are correct saying shes extremely famous and you are totally awesome to like her enough to defend her like that. :) Thanks for commenting
@MrJaydubya53 - Actually, no, it first appeared on his 1972 album, 'Something/Anything?'. And he also recorded it with his band, the Nazz, in 1968 with a slower, less catchy arrangement.
TR never did sing onstage or offstage w Stevie. Some1 is misleading the public into thinking that TR and Stevie sang 2gether and it's just totally false, that's all. Stevie Nicks is extremely famous and u know hu is always trying 2 B famous-that's the difference btwn Stevie Nicks and TR.
@sunshineshine77 ~ This was recorded at The Roxy, May 23, 1978 where they did perform this song together also the live double album Back to the Bars. On side one, Todd is backed by Kasim Sulton, John Wilcox, and Roger Powell, better known as Utopia. The balance of the album finds him playing with a variety of musicians, including appearances by notables like Rick Derringer, Spencer Davis, Stevie Nicks, and Philadelphia homeboys Daryl Hall and John Oates
@sunshineshine77 Open yours EARS! You can HEAR Stevie singing in the background! Good grief! Why is everyone out to attack just because it might be something they have not heard before or know about. Stevie has sang with MANY other performers, not just FM, solo, Elton, Rod....I just admitted that as much as I am a hard-core Stevie fan, back to her Buckingham Nicks days (I was 9 years old when I bought the album and still have it, her name misspelled Stevie on it), I did not know of this!
This song was in the movie 'The Virgin Suicides' - interesting movie, not a fave but I liked -the actors name eludes me, anyway he played 'Trip' in the movie.
Maybe its me, but personnaly I consider Stevies contribution not relevant. With all respect....but I prefer the earlier solo version, wich contained much and much more breaking glass....
@MrSunshine58 ~True she is only a backup singer for the most part in this performance. Just love the song and seeing as im a Stevie freak,i thought it would be a fun song to share. :)
@MrSunshine58 lol..i just made the same comment on another version too with the voice in the background..so far my favoirite version is the 1973 tv version.
I always liked Todd's songs back in the early 70's, but I never really saw him.
I wonder if he ever grew up. Does he still sing? Now that I see him, I never thought he was like that. I guess I didn't expect a punky dresser. I still like his music.

Todd Rundren can't really sing and overpowered Stevie Nicks with his lousy vocals. He must be a real idiot.
