  • CTFxCers are amazing <3

  • Woooo CTFxC make the world go round :D

  • Any CTFxCers here?

  • CTFxC

  • CTFxC!!! :D

  • CTFxC

  • ctfxc ftw

  • @samiehouska I had to youtube it too!!!!

    CTFXC FTW

  • when i heard coldplay ripped off the Craft Works i was appaled, but it turns out they did an interessting job :D

  • Liniers me hizo venir a acá :)

  • @blackdiament a mi tb!

  • No other band can do this - only Kraftwerk can do this. Write such sublime music and move hearts and impel tears from behind their cold veneer.

No one can beat Kraftwerk. It is too monumental a task.

  • Lets talk.

  • @proxxyma I know that coldplay suck! I'm just tired to hear poeple saying that they stole the riff. For this one, they took the rights :P

and I dont think you need to tell me who make original music, I'm well educated on this side

  • Uno de los grupos que vi en aquella época y me sorprendierón fue Kraftwerk.

    Eran increibles. Madonna 1994.

  • never knew coldplay used this beat

  • Listened to this for the first time in around 25 years! Forgot how superb it is, back into Kraftwerk big time now!!

  • @StoppersREME - don't stop - they only get better as the listener gets older, like finely aged wine. Kraftwerk are a revelation.

  • @GCLwins

I won'tmate! Got my Autobahn cd on it's way to me from my ex wife! Surprised she's still got it lol!!

  • @StoppersREME - Light a spliff and drag deeply several times, congratulate yourself on your freedom, turn down the lights, turn up the music, kick back with a beer, and put Autobahn on repeat (better yet if it's the extended version). Best advice I can give you! LOL!

  • 80's SWAG

  • i have heard some original kraftwerk album my dad owned and i didnt relize that they have impacted modern music in such a huge way, i.e. coldplay using this sample, jayz sampling them for the be my sunshine song.

all i'm trying to say is that kraftwerk was way ahead of its time in music, they still impact us today and are being sampled. great music by them in general.

  • @tpp27 i wouldn't go as far as saying they had such a huge impact on modern music, or that their music was ahead of it's time. they just had random very simple melodies that a couple artists chose to make a guitar riff.

  • @Sony90210 I'd say they definitely had a huge impact in modern music! Check out the docu "Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution" great history lesson right there! :) .

They are acknowledged to be main influences for genres like Techno to come about (which lead to tons of other genres and sub genres through the decades) and have influenced tons of artists from all around the world. to this day.

  • Probably first IDM style track

  • Still have the vinyl disk.... Still love it!!!

  • i played this record over and over again

  • @domiwob

So did I --- mom got the LP for me for Christmas, in 81 (?). And I still listen to that same LP today.

  • in the future were will i bee....coldplay nice sample by them

  • is there a 6 minute version?

  • No es plagio por parte de Cold Play, es falta de imaginación.

  • @caro7nea Coldplay le pidio permiso a Kraftwerk para que utilizaran el tono.(Wikipedia) No es plagio.

  • tsss computer love, if you want we can chat and see what happens.

  • DJ spinna's version is the funkiest

  • I guess a lot of people doesn't know the meaning of the word "sampling".

  • no puede ser! COLPLAY PLAGIO!

  • Same little ginggle of Coldplay's Talk!

  • COLDPLAY TALK!!!!!!!

  • fuck coldplay

  • this is good riding music

  • I love Coldplay and wondered how they come up with such awesome songs. I guess I know now.

  • @b0b95eg too bad they didnt come up with this

  • @b0b95eg I thought the very same thing when I heard this song three years ago!!! I'm glad someone else like you said it too!~ It sounds JUST LIKE COLDPLAY's song..

  • sometimes i wonder if jean michel jarre haven´t based his music also in this incredible style, innovation and vision

  • ONLY GOOD!!!!100%

  • @shayla1234567891

Lemme guess...looking for a chopped and screwed version of Zapp?

  • @shayla1234567891 Well, it isn't the current top 40 hit. Go look for lady gaga, then maybe you'll be happy.

  • Wow, this is so much better than Coldplay. But then again, everything's better than Coldplay.

  • @TheEloeo I can tell you're a Coldplay hater... >.>

  • @StarJinx101 No shit, I just said it.

  • @TheEloeo ... lolz.

  • @TheEloeo if you think everything's better than Coldplay then you you must be mentally ill.

  • @MrRascasseman HAHAH so true.

  • wot a band!

  • The grandfathers of "Electronica"...

  • classic inventors of rave music

  • the spocks??

  • @MrXwaYZ ROTFLMAO XD

  • @MagicalMysteries why the spocks?

  • @postonunc

who the fuck is that shit-head anyway? :)

  • @postonunc not funny and you realize you help promote the little bstard by naming him don't you?

  • @MaghoxFr If I wanted to promote him I would buy his cd or go see him in concert. Computer love is good music, not Bieber.

  • @postonunc you are promoting him dipshit, EVERYONE FLAG that shit as spam

  • Sounds familiar to a coldplay song. Think they nicked it?

  • @bruticus75 Big f**king time!!

  • @bruticus75 apparently they asked if they could use the hook

  • @bruticus75

they asked for permission to use this tone :)

  • @bruticus75 Coldplay asked Kraftwerk if they could use the melody, and they said "okay"

  • @NKDspitfiremodeller That´s totally true.

  • @NKDspitfiremodeller wrong, they said "yes".

  • @NKDspitfiremodeller After asking permission to use the tune, Coldplay had to wait several weeks before they recieved a hand-written letter that simply said, "Yes." The band is notorious for they reclusiveness :)

  • @NKDspitfiremodeller "ok" would be more appropriate ;)

  • @NKDspitfiremodeller Are you Dutch and did you watched the Top 2000 a Gogo? :)

  • computer love ,computer love,Lonely night,,,,nice text

  • Im confused how could Kraftwerk rip off someone who sampled their song 20years after it was made?

  • @ph03n1xamb1t

    "They ripped off Dizzee Rascal"

Wow, and Dizzee Rascal wasn't even born then.

  • @MomoTheBellyDancer

Thats how good Dizzee is. In the future he managed to rap his way back in time to 1973, learnt German and made this tune. Amazing huh.

  • @PlatinumJestar:

haha english music is 100 % invented by german music.thats what you want say?

    true!!!!!!!!!!

  • just watch this:youtube.com/watch?v=UXE_8ms65s8

  • @ph03n1xamb1t 'Tis funny, seeing that Diz wasn't an idea.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t

you do realise Kraftwerk long preceded the stupid chav by , what, 30 odd years?

  • @jonomurphy3 i do. hence the irony inherent in the comment

  • @ph03n1xamb1t That's impossible because Dizzee Rascal was born four years after this recording was released.

  • @jackal59

you really are fantastically insightful to realise this.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t Saying something stupid and then claiming you were being ironic is really a loser move.

  • @jackal59

You are clearly around 12 years old judging by your juvenile usage of the phrase"a loser move" so here's an idea, why don't you shove your mentally hampered head back inside your mother's cunt and shut the fuck up when the adults are conversing.

  • this song sucks, coldplays is better anyways lmao.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t I think you need a refresh on the meaning of the term ripped off. coldplay ripped off this melody as well. (from kaftwerk) I wouldn't be surprised if it's been used multiple times.

  • I remember when I first heard this song in the record store...

  • The second guy from the right reminds me of Roger Federer.

  • @yurismir1 LOL ;)

  • @MagicalMysteries Don't ask why I said that :)

  • @yurismir1 It's his dad

  • @yurismir1 he's nothing like Federer in my opinion.

  • @Dadianooo I didn't say he was anything like Federer. I said he looked like Federer. I don't know if he has a great backhand, forehand, etc.

  • Coldplay are fuck*** thieves O.O ^^ and they don't know how to EQ music too btw. Krafwerk, Satriani, hopefully their references are the good ones, they could have taken a sample from I dunno : JUSTIN BIEBER !!!!! (jk)

  • @ph03n1xamb1t this song was written before dizzee rascal was born

  • @ph03n1xamb1t they were around before he was born

  • @cozmikgate

really? learn the concept of irony child

  • @ph03n1xamb1t child? I'm 43 so piss off learn that

  • @cozmikgate

learn to suck my dick bitch

  • AMAZIN

  • hehehe..half a man..half a machine...the new generation..love u...

  • THE BEST OF ALL.

  • The first time I heard Coldplay - Talk, I knew instantly they lifted the guitar riff from this song.

  • The original melody was invented by Kraftwerk, I realized that until today. Coldplay what happens?, you don´t need to copy ideas from others.

  • @POLLOGIOVA Chris Martin like the riff so much, he asked if he could use it.

    They gave him total permission.

  • @glane88 I know that coldplay ask permission but I believe that it's unnecesary to do!

  • what a great tune, timeless

  • brandontwb u asshole, what crappy band, u fool . 1 of the greatest original groups of all time :-) classic kraftwerk timeless tunes

  • people need to realize how much these guys influenced hip hop too.

sorry let me rephrase that..... influenced the guys THAT INFLUENCED HIP HOP

  • classic melody

  • @EscapeNewJersey Yep! ^_^

  • What a poor quality upload - terrible

  • I like this song it's a nice relaxing tune which allows me to think about all those great moments when i was (not much) younger.. But this song is creepy in a way. Well cosplay made it sound a bit more alive and new

  • don't treat objects like women

  • @mesmerized4ever I lol'd :S

  • @mesmerized4ever Women are pretty great.

  • @mesmerized4ever CUZ YOU'LL FUCK EM UP ROTFL

  • Coldplay are far from the first band influenced by Kraftwerk. Accusing them of stealing Kraftwerk's music is ridiculous.

  • This is wierd

  • coldplay did not ripoff anything, i think they did a great job with talk. Did anyone even listen to that song? you can not compare it, it is the same melody yes, but it is used in a totally different way.

  • @elvengarda they ripped it off

  • very good song

  • Comment removed

  • Kraftwerk gives me the creeps.

  • @chamath1985 Why?

  • @TheModCon Hm.. not sure. I studied these guys back when I was a kid and I kept getting the feeling that these guys have something seriously weird. Still I can't forrm that thingy into words lol.

  • Kraftwerk are the innovators! And also Hideki Matsutake and Rational Youth

  • Remember listening to this song when I was a kid. Awesome band and songs.

  • lol... for the longest time I thought it was Coldplay that was copying Glass Candy. lol I fail xD

  • @ph03n1xamb1t i seriously hope you're joking.

no one can be that stupid.

  • @b1shitekki

I would hope so also. :)

  • this is an awesome track

  • "computer love"...very futuristic line! Hahah

  • @clarkquente Who cares.

  • @clarkquente looks like 16 people dont know what good music is most music sucks but not coldplay

  • Soo schlecht^^

  • Kraftwerk man numbers, home computer should I name more Best of the 80's no doubt

  • this could be the anthem for the current generation o_O

  • @xridethelightningx I think the reason for that is because the technology was "given" to us by those scientists at Nellis AFB who reverse-engineered the technology they found on that extraterestrial craft that crashed at Roswell which was telepathically driven by the Extreaterestrial Biological Entities from the star Betelgeuse. The E.B.E.'s are usually reffered to as "The Greys". The crash is also the reason we got "shoved", rather than a natural pushed, into more advanced technologies.

  • beautiful, austere, haunting.

  • coldplay is ripoff piracy

  • @Enysvar Coldplay used it with permission.

  • @Enysvar Coldplay got permission to use melody well in advance, not piracy! Kraftwerk replyed to request from Coldplay with a short handwritten note in an envelope that simple said YES.

  • this is the best, than coldplay!

  • What makes Kraftwerk special is that they been doing this since the early 1970's. They pioneered what is now considered syntha-pop.

  • omg these punks totally stole this from Coldplay! XD

  • @stonem001 ¬¬

    fake and gay

  • @stonem001 oh my god you're a TOTAL IDIOT fucking retard

  • just listen the great cover of this song by Dj Spinna (also called Computer Love)

  • just listen the great cover of this song by Dj Spinna (also called Computer Love)

  • im dont understand

  • coldplay ripped it off

  • i love the original, the coldplay version and the remixes, this song is great in all forms ;)

  • coldplay didnt steal it, you can see in the writers of the song they gave these guys credit!

  • Coldplay suck and should die a slow painful death and someone should kick Chris Martin in his balls not that he has any that is what soft rock does to a man makes him a girl! KRAFWERG FTW!

  • wow

  • Fine, they're not ripping it. But they did mess with it. It brings attention to Kraftwerk which is great. But Coldplay's song sucks. Just because it's played with the guitar doesn't make it cool, it's mediocre-that's why everyone loves it. They didn't add anything to it except for the lame vocals. Kraftwerk's Computer Love is the only thing worth listening to.

  • These melody is fucking awesome

  • @sphinx200 its so beautiful

i grew up listening to this music then i forgot about ti its so great to rediscover it finnaly

  • it is ripping the melody who asks another musician if they could use there melody fuck that come up with your own melody thats the hardest part of a song. if the music isnt great nobody cares what lyrics you put together. I sure dont.

  • is this taken from vinyl/cassette?

    love the lo-fi sound quality...

  • me caga coldplay por copiarse

  • I knew coldplay ripped this off i always knew it from the first time i heard the start of this song i was lik hold on coldplay must have ripped them off lol

  • @LeeLostprophets Hey, they didn't rip it off. Coldplay asked Kraftwerk for permission to use the riff-melody as a sample in their (Coldplay's) song "Talk". And as we can see/hear Kraftwerk did give that permission. Coldplay is highly influenced by Kraftwerk - you can especially hear it on the X&Y album by Coldplay.

  • Kraftwerk influenced not only Coldplay but all of the electronic musicians since Africa Bambata sampled TTE in 1980.

  • Talk of coldplay ripped the intro of this song. I don't like kraftwerk but it seems that I need to have some respect for them since they influenced one of the best bands ever by this song ;D

  • the difference between Rock and Hip Hop: Coldplay asks to use the song, and then credits them in the liner. Coldplay knows that they are good musicians and are not threatened by making a nod to the past.

Timbaland uses riffs from Arabic music, and then denies it.

  • lol at some of you not knowing about, or understanding sampling. It's done all the time. And guess what! It doesn't always mean that the band or artist who did the sampling is unoriginal either! It can be done right, and in a creative way. Open your minds.
