RC A-10 Warthog Bad Landing

This definitely looks like Guan'Li A-10. The EPO foam this thing is made of is VERY dense so, when it goes down with moderate force, it will disintegrate upon impact...trust me, I've crashed too many of them not to know.

These A-10's are a "floater" coming in for landing, which makes it difficult even for intermediate pilots.

I only managed a "landing" once without any real damage. Most were destroyed in crashes due to faulty Airtronics RDS8000 Tx but, without rudder it's hell to land.

@WW2AirSofters The Warthog is the A10 Thunderbolt 2 it was first built in the 70's and then the org. P-47 Thunderbolt is a WW2 plane.

If your'e landing a jet ,don't reduce the throttle when you're landing, if you do ,the plane will get a stall and fall down.This happenend here.

SO,practise slow landings.And reduce the elevator.

@4EverGooners the only problem ive ran into (besides handling in stronge/ med wind) is the charging , because the controler is the charger u run out of jusic quickly and also try not flying near a baseball fence cause when ever i fly mine by it, it just flys off randomly to the woods so i just scard the shit out of me cause i really like it but ya its a nice fly ... it REALLY could use rudders or somthing for turning cause if u turn to much it dips down

I got this plane long time ago which is 9.8V not even can take off or to fly. But now most of the customer complain about this product the company revised their product to 11Volt which is better than 9.8v

weird my art tech eurofighter can glide oh wait your power system has overweighted the airframe pretty much cutting your glide off and giving it a high sink rate. Inrunner motors and a large battery.  Nice flying

@JetFlyyer Well no, weight has little to do with your glide ratio. Newton's laws state more mass equals more inertia. Glide ratio is dependent upon foil and angle of attack, not weight. You may be able to "glide" a delta winged aircraft, but only at a lower angle of attack than a conventional glider. Weight only becomes a problem when the plane is so heavy no foil will give enough lift.

Nice landing at first, the second one, could have been prevented if you had landing with that negative rate of decent, flared the nose, and hadn't turned at that angle upon landing. The situation IS your fault, you are dishonorably discharged (Top Gun and Court Marshall scenes FTW!)

If you pause at 4:44, you will see why it crushed.Dave forgot to bend the landing gear back into position after the hard landing.So when the plane drop down fast and with the bent landing gears,the tail hit the ground first and broke.

I bought this plane..

The thing that worrries me the most is that the EDF units are just GLUED to the fuselage.. I used 5minute epoxy and some CA after I glued them

I also intent to use a 4cell

The ESCs can surely take it because with a 4 cell the motors will draw 32amps max

I don't know if the motors can handle the 4 cell though.. has anybody tried this before?
