@wrongwayup I don't think this vid would help. Creationists just want to blur the line between faith and science. And I think we shouldn't trust the public to fully understand the scientific meaning of the word "theory". Instead of that, for the sake of public understanding, whe should speak in terms of "laws" rather than "theories".

At least: That's what I think.

@Skoda130 Perhaps, although that could also introduce further misunderstandings in terminology, because "laws" as well have a distinct meaning in science. However, there are such enormous amounts of evidence supporting the theory of evolution, calling it 'the fact of evolution' or 'the law of evolution' wouldn't even be such a strange thing.
