Born 1958 This song still reminds me of my first times. Times I still have to reconcile. Well I remember when I was young, at times it was horror, and I hate it.
@annettehodson I was born in 63, my son born in 1990 and he loves this kind of music - he likes billy, the masters, spectrum etc - I've trained him well lol!
Saw Matt and Phil in support of the Doobies a few years back, my mrs bought their CD at interval, got a kiss of both of them, she hasn't washed her face since.
I used to see them at Quentin's Disco in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane in the early days. I have so many photo's of them thatI i took way back then. I was a huge fan of their music.
These guys must have had some real fun making these records. Great attitude and the world hasn't quite fallen apart yet, as the oldies said it would...
Brilliant Memories! I bought the single and lost it when I shifted house. First time I've heard this song in over 30 years....thanks for posting. PS Who remembers Matt Taylor at Sunbury in 73?
In JB-HIFI I found a new re-release of a band Matt Taylor was in before Chain, called "Carson". Had a great boogie tune on it, strangely enough titled "Boogie Part One, Boogie Part Two". really seminal Aussie blues. I first heard it on an "Explosive Hits 1973" cassette my mother bought!
I think you are referring to Brodrick Smith the singer / harp player of CARSON. Boogie Part One, Boogie Part Two was released as a "single" with the tune split over the 2 sides, hence the Part One & Part Two references.
or yeah mann this is the shit dude fuking awesome been looking for this for fuking ages were can i get there discs

Can any1 tell me what key his harp is played in? Am learning blues harp and just can't get it right

Guitar is G ///Bflat // C// so harp would be key of c (cross position the fifth above G) which is C harp .
