i don't get all the hate for Beast Wars. The show was awesome considering the year it was made. it had its dark moments and its cheesy yet funny lines. overall it was a great transformers show and in my opinion it was up there with G1, Armada, and the other great transformers shows

My only problem with Animated was that the character design was stupid (to me, at least). They looked like metal humans with even more impossible propotions than anything the disproportionate physics of the old cartoon had. But, to be fair, Animated did have a much better story than Robots in Disguise, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron. I just wish they hadn't gone with the funky character designs (althogh Megs didn't look too bad).

This is awesome! Perfect timing! People can complain about the Animated series all they want, but at least it was WAY better than Armada! lol (at least in my opinion!) (They actually make a decent number of references to G1)
Maybe so but it would not have worked well for the pre-commercial trailers for the G1 animated series back then like how the original music was used. If you ever come across the commercial trailer for the series watch and compare. Can't see how the TF Animated theme could be used more effectively to sell the transformers series like the original did.
I'm standing by what I said and I believe the G1 season 3/4 theme is by far the best. The TF Animated theme was well done but I still like the original and I have a right to my opinion. Back in the day when TF first came out the general feeling back then was that everything that was TF had to wreak of awesomeness. For me the TF Animated theme does not do it for me and sounds kind of gayish compared to what I envision for a theme for that series. I believe they nailed it for G1 season 3/4.
I was watching a G1 marathon on teletoon retro Saturday/Sunday, i say that because it was 24 hours long, anyways, i found the animated opening was essential a remixed version of the original.
Weeell, really every opening to every transformers series has been a remix of the original (with the exception of Beast Wars). Personally, I'd say that it's the most original remix thus far.
People can complain all they want about animated, or whatever series after G1, but yesterday a little boy saw the Decepticon logo on my car and loved it, so the way I see it as long as each generation feels how awesome it is to experience transformers, then I am happy.

For the most part, it's back to the basics when it comes to storylines: Autobots VS Decepticons, straight-up. No minicons or energon supply or cyber planet keys; just Autobots and Decepticons beating the crap out of each other for no reason other than their factions (whenever the episodic villain isn't some two-bit Batman-reject).
Damn, that was awesome! An absolutely perfect fit. That's so weird how well Animated's music goes with G1's footage.
You know, I'll never understand whining fanboys that complain about every little frivolous thing about Animated. With all the G1 nods, you'd think that they'd be happy or something.

This is awesome! Perfect timing! People can complain about the Animated series all they want, but at least it was WAY better than Armada! lol (at least in my opinion!) (They actually make a decent number of references to G1)

Maybe so but it would not have worked well for the pre-commercial trailers for the G1 animated series back then like how the original music was used. If you ever come across the commercial trailer for the series watch and compare. Can't see how the TF Animated theme could be used more effectively to sell the transformers series like the original did.

I'm standing by what I said and I believe the G1 season 3/4 theme is by far the best. The TF Animated theme was well done but I still like the original and I have a right to my opinion. Back in the day when TF first came out the general feeling back then was that everything that was TF had to wreak of awesomeness. For me the TF Animated theme does not do it for me and sounds kind of gayish compared to what I envision for a theme for that series. I believe they nailed it for G1 season 3/4.

I was watching a G1 marathon on teletoon retro Saturday/Sunday, i say that because it was 24 hours long, anyways, i found the animated opening was essential a remixed version of the original.

Weeell, really every opening to every transformers series has been a remix of the original (with the exception of Beast Wars). Personally, I'd say that it's the most original remix thus far.

People can complain all they want about animated, or whatever series after G1, but yesterday a little boy saw the Decepticon logo on my car and loved it, so the way I see it as long as each generation feels how awesome it is to experience transformers, then I am happy.

@BlueKyroDragon The problem is some people view everything as an attempt at remaking G1. Each series is for each generation. While I admit some of them could have been alot better, none of them were complete fails. And my mom has Autobot insignias on her motorcycle, we get comments all the time. I support your opinion.

For the most part, it's back to the basics when it comes to storylines: Autobots VS Decepticons, straight-up. No minicons or energon supply or cyber planet keys; just Autobots and Decepticons beating the crap out of each other for no reason other than their factions (whenever the episodic villain isn't some two-bit Batman-reject).
