  • again doc, the english ignorance.what is the make of that last truck....

  • @mortgagewizard40 >>>---> That, my friend, is a 1974 American LaFrance - Ladder Chief with a 100 foot aerial ladder.

  • Truck 7 kicks ass on all your videos (shouts out to ol myrtle) you will always be missed!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow. I laughed so hard when I saw this video. I was born in June of '92, and now I pass down this road nearly everyday on the way to work.

    It looks nearly the same...

  • I like the one part with the cop pulling up and hearing his powercall siren tone. Then followed by the Q siren

  • thats not a powercall, its and old Whelen WS-224 siren

  • That's how fire trucks supposed to sound

  • Is that Chief Margene McCoy on Engine 5 (when he was a Captain)?

  • No, I think it was Capt. Artis Durr.

  • You mentioned in another video about Shreveport piggy-backing on a Dallas order for the Spartan/Quality engines... we too think that these were among the BEST engines that Dallas ever ordered. A few remain in the reserve pool today.

  • Listen to that 6V-53 in the foreground!!! VERY nice and classic!!

  • Nice video!

1992--I was just getting un-engaged to this one idiot and meeting my now husband of almost 14 years...ah...man now I feel OLD.

  • sounds like you still love the idoit

  • Nope...don't love the idiot I broke up with but I have now been with this man for 18 years, married nearly 15 (in July 09), and we have 4 kiddos and a nice home. :)

Best thing I ever did was break up with that dumbass (the ex) over 18 years ago! :)

  • Awesome man just awesome

  • freekin' classic!! mmm...

  • What type of siren would be on the cheif? That's the second vehicle that arrives.

  • That's how REAL fire trucks sounded back then: Detroit 6V-53's in pumps (in this case the ALF Pioneers) and 6-71's in the ladders. Great video!!

  • Nice trucks, funny how you never even showed the house...

  • Oh, I have the fires, but these are response only videos that I had archived on our Web site.

  • Kewl. I know where there is a Pioneer I and a Pioneer III still in service in Claiborne Parish. Thanks.

  • Nice one. That's a nice Lafrance.
