@michaelbrick85 Baja's are not cheap boats by any means, not a big fan of them myself though. These boats start at around $750,000 to the million dollar range. Very cool boats but I still like the sound of a big block V8.

@macinnus02az I would agree, especially in one that weighs 18,000lbs like this 51' Outerlimits. It was originally rigged with I believe twin staggered Sterling 1200s. However, the new owner John Haggin decided to rig it with Lycoming 1450hp turbines after he hooked up with Turbine Marine to rig 1850hp turbines for his raceboats.

Last I heard they got 135 from this boat which was the fastest any V bottom that size had ever run so it wasn't a total cockup.
