  • Any one who believes in atheism is a dick who will burn in hell. We don't have proof?? Show me how there's no proof. Do i know if there is a god?? Yes. Can I see him? No. But can u see gravity as in a physical object u can hold? No. So fuck atheism

  • The Rise of Atheism is definitely on the march. I would like to say greetings to my fellow Midwestern Atheist and I enjoy what you guys and girls are doing. You can check out my company Atheos Records, LLC (i.e. The World's #1 Atheist Rap label).

  • Bill Maher has stated many times he's not an atheist. He says he's an agnostic. I'm an ubertheist. I believe in 42 Gods. That's 41 more that I can smite your god with. Thanks Douglas Adams.

  • not to mention all of those gods could merge together like Voltron or the Constructicons as the one and only Ubergod, who'd fuck anyone up, even Chuck Norris.

  • This video is stupid and who ever created this video is even more stupid

  • bill o'rielly is not an atheist

    neither is kirk cameron

  • You are an idiot.

  • dude i was just pointing out that bill o' rielly is not and atheist and neither is kirk cameron

    isn't that what you did

you compiled a video and list of atheist in different catergories

and those two people are not atheist

    SEARCH IT

  • I never state or imply that O'Reilly or Kirk Cameron are atheists. As you will notice, there are many names of non-atheists in my list of names. They just happen to be well known people who appear in videos relevant to my site. The description says "There are videos featuring...." It doesn't say, "See these atheists:" For instance- O'Reilly has had atheists on his shows, and these shows are on my site. Kirk Cameron has debated atheists, and that debate is on my site. Get it?

  • sorry,

    jeez

  • Are they jesus freaks?

  • i worship the great "VAGINA"...i bathe in the hole-ly waters as often as possible and i'm am a true believer in it's powers.. i have personally seen people being created through it.. amen!!! when i taste of it's blessing i begin to "speak in tounge(s)"...

i bow to you oh hole y est of all holes... hallelujah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amen podzillart, spread the word!

  • Glory to the VAGINA!!

  • i may be taking this out of context but i like the way that you appear to think.

  • i follow father christmas. he is my all knowing god. he knows if i've been good or bad and i know he exists because i have the presents.

  • Religion is hilarious. All the comments from you terribly threatened religious apologists here amuse me. Cheers!

  • I am a follower of the flying spahgetti monster with the hope that he will send me praise and reward, since all theists are looking for reward.I know that i am saved by his noodly like appendages and will live forever praising him in his rightful spot in a eternally delicious bowl.

  • Intellectually Bankrupt?- then why are the most elite scientists mostly non-religious? (93% of national academy) Financially Bankrupt?- Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, a couple of the richest people in this country are atheists. Morally Bankrupt? We're not the ones opressing women, flying planes into buildings, mutilating genitals, burning witches, engaging in inquisitions and crusades, etc....

  • I'm told however(from a reliable source) that the flying spaghetti monster IS a real God however ... which why I'm a devout pastafarian.

  • "the flying spaghetti monster IS a real God however".

Indeed, i was blessed by devine inspiration revealing the Pastafarians follow the only true god.

Many holy cookbooks -written independantly ny many writers' will foretell the energy that pasta gives, especially when accompanied by his mystical Son 'Ensalata Mista'.

In some countries the pastafarians are known as Noodleists.

  • And yet you were the ones running the Soviet Union and putting people in conscentration camps. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that Atheists are morally, financially and intellectually bankrupt, that's just untrue. But don't act like religion is the cause of everything bad in the world.

  • not all..just most..no offense but religion was created by politicians to control the masses and "all" politicians are corrupt.. it's the nature of that game..

  • I doubt that guys like Siddartha Gautama, Yeshua of Nazareth, Zarathustra and Muhammad started their faiths with the purpose of controlling the masses. I think that instead of blaming a convention of Human society that has no real will of its own and is only really defined by the people who consist of it for said society's collective ills is missing the true core of the world's pain. It all start with the man in the mirror, not the man at the pulpit.

  • I doubt with all due respact that Siddartha Gautama, Yeshua of Nazareth, Zarathustra and Muhammad started their faiths to control the masses. But, yes politicians do use faith to manipulate the people, that I know.

  • Look at the former Soviet Union. You are a small minority that "Natural Selection" has seen not to want to reproduce (I don't believe in Natural Selection, but you do). When I was an atheist I was always outnumbered by theists. Atheism and its elites (including former communist leaders are bankrupt in more ways than financial).

  • no your just makin stuff up

  • Lol, acronym,

"Atheistic communism" falls in the catagory "atheistic evolution".

"Many former free thinkers", well, just ramble whatever you can think of, regardless of any facts, 'many' lol.

atheism bankrupt, ehrm, yeah, whatever dude.

  • Do you true believers also believe in Santa Claus? What about the Easter Bunny? It always amazes me how othewise sane people can believe all the religious fairy tales. And then they talk down to you, like you're the one with the problem.

  • Santa or the easter bunny haven't said they will send me to hell for not believing in them. So even if they were true I would have no motivation to believe in them. Jesus has said people will go to hell for not believing in him, so I believe.

  • It's obvious the atheists in the former Soviet Union believed in Santa Claus, as Western God-believing nations had to bail out the Soviet Union and the Eastern bloc Atheistic nations. North Korean Atheists are believing in Santa Claus by getting millions from the "superstitious West". Oh, Santa exists to bail out all atheistic nations.

  • G.o.o.n.R.i.d.e.s. = "God offers one needed Rescue if damnation exists, skeptic"

  • Ever been in a foxhole?

  • I have not served in the military. However the saying- "There are no atheists in foxholes" is not only incorrect, it is also bigoted. Look up Pat Tillman, and Wayne Adkins for 2 great american heroes.

  • I have real pity for you because you can't even look at nature and the universe and realize that "in Him we live and move and have our being." I'm not going to argue with you, but you will be convinced some day...

  • Don't pity me, I believed quite strongly in god (I was a Lutheran) until I was around 22 years old. I slowly began to deconvert over 2 years during which I studied the numerous inconsistencies in the bible and other religions. 1 Corinthians 13:11 "When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things." It is I who pity you.

  • Yawn. You pity ME? I have nothing to lose. You on the other hand...

  • Nothing to lose? What if the Hindus are right? Shiva might not be to happy with you. What if the Muslims are right? Allah's hellfire waits for your soul. What if one of the hundreds of thousands of religions that are now forgotten in the sands of time were right? Then you, and we all, are surely doomed. You appeal to Pascal's Wager, which is easily rebutted thusly. Watch some of the videos on my site and educate yourself.

  • What do you have, some amazing Randy videos? Come on. Your "what if" scenario is based on "what if" there was a God. "If" there is a God, He would not allow his "right religion" to be forgotten in the sands of time...

have fun at your Midwest Atheism Church...

  • BTW, I don't subscribe to Pascal's wager. For me, it's just a debate point. But of course, I can't change your mind. That's not my job.'

    Nice background music, though...

  • Unalunallena, how will you avoid hell without Jesus?

  • Ugh... I will avoid hell quite easily because, quite simply, there is no hell. There is no heaven either, in case you were wondering. Also- No santa, easter bunny, or tooth fairy. Sorry if I crushed all of your beliefs all at once.

  • snore

  • this video reminds me of one those segments that occurs at the Academy Awards when they show all the actors/directrors/writers, etc. that passed away that same year..lol

  • Larry king is not an atheist..next time check your facts..

  • I never said Larry King was an atheist.. next time check your facts..

  • haha pwnd

  • "I'm not an atheist. There's a really big difference between an atheist and someone who just doesn't believe in religion. Religion to me is a bureaucracy between man and God that I don't need. But I'm not an atheist, no... I believe there's some force."

    - Bill Maher takes on Religion in New Documentary (June 07, 2006)

  • Is this force knowable?

  • Scientists dont look for evidence, they look for contradictions. They start with an answer, and try to disprove it.

  • Why would evolution produce more complex but more fragile organisms? Because they can create nuclear bombs?

A staple in evolution is that we're not fully developed. We're not perfect, yet. We're not done being created.

  • You can look at the evidence or I should say lack of evidence at a christian god understand human physiology <--spelling and how the brain works. And then you understand how we conjuer those terrible ideas. No perfect omnipotent being would condoin slavery or shere disrespect towards another sex.

  • People are more concerned with trying to eliminate the great possibility of there being a God more than they want to learn anything. No one knows why we are the exact distance and angle away from the sun to where life can be sustained. We strive to know all the what, when, where questions but we deny the who and we don't know any of the why.

  • This is not only flawed, theoretically (why would natural selection result in more complex—and therefore, more fragile organisms?).. but it's also flawed because the fossil record doesn't support it. And where is this astounding evidence that it's a fact? Macro Evolution is not a theory, it's a hypotheses. That being said, the only place macro evolution is fact, is the space between a Darwiniacs ears.

  • I'll give you the same advice I gave srhabb- watch the videos on evolution on my website. There is not scientific dileniation of Micro/Macro evolution. Those are terms made up by creationists, not biologists. How do you explain the fusion of chromosome 2 from simian predecesors, endogenous retroviruses passed down, and the broken vitamin C gene in humans? How do you explain all of these phenomenon without employing evolutionary mechanisms?

  • Macro evolution is a fact? Uhhhh... We can observe how genes get naturally selected in a species to allow for the species to reproduce. That is known as "micro-evolution". Micro evolution results in certain genetics. The leap of faith in Science is made by assuming that because we can watch micro-evolution, if we add several hundred million years, macro-evolution (Darwin's theory) must be true. That is to say, that a fish will eventually turn into a bird.

  • Never mind I'm hungry, gotta go eat.

  • I had a thought, if evolution is true if something formed and started out not having something like eyes, how would it know it needed to evolve to have them. IE; people.

  • Nature does not make concious choices of which member of a species to survive long enough to reproduce. The ones living in habitats where it is benificial to be able to see would have survived for a longer period of time and thus have reproduced. Thereby passing on the genes connected to their eyesight - the next generation would then have carried these on - and so on ;-). there are plenty of habitats where creatures do not need eyesight by the way.

  • I guess my question is if everything came from ooze, how did all these things come to be?

  • Well - explaining evolution in 5 sentences is impossible. But look it up on google or wikipedia. There you will get all the answers you need :-). Good luck, and remember - we HAVE found the answer that replaces the bible and all the other religious nonsense - it's all there to study!!!! :-)

  • Evolution does not "Know" anything. Evolution is Random mutation plus natural selection. If a trait randomly emerges, i.e. a light sensitive cell, that helps the organism. It helps the org. orient to up, down, and stay safe by staying in shadow to avoid predators, etc...

  • The funny thing is that what a mutation does is "take away" genetic information, not add or enhance it, therefore the "theory" of evolution breaks down in so many other ways than just this one. Evolution is a dry joke.

  • You clearly don't understand evolution. Watch some of the many educational videos on my site if you care to educate yourself (which I doubt you do). Evolution is a fact, and it is not disputed in scientific circles. If you doubt this, look up endogenous retrovirus, and the broken vitamin C gene.

  • I have studied evolution, I'm in school for my second degree and I have been educated on this "theory". I think I can say its a conjured lie.

  • You may have studied evolution, but clearly you don't understand it, otherwise you wouldn't make such obviously incorrect statements. How do you explain the fusion of chromosome 2 from simian predecesors, endogenous retroviruses passed down, and the broken vitamin C gene in humans? How do you explain all of these phenomenon without employing evolutionary mechanisms?

  • If evolution is true, people should have no problem getting blood transfusions from apes. A theory is a fancy way of saying, I made this up until I can find something I can call evidence. It would be wiser to say I don't know until an answer is reviled.

  • Again you don't know what you are talking about. Blood transfusions have to be matched to blood type, not even all humans can donate to me, let alone apes. And you don't understand what a scientific theory is- go to notjustatheory(com) to see what it is. Evolution is both fact and theory. Deny it all you want, but it won't change reality.

  • Well I give you this, a random as evolution seems to be, something still has to keep track of it.

  • Hahahaha! Way 2 go, srhabb. That's the dumbest comment I've seen in a long time. You made my day.

  • First it was in "Pale Blue Dot" by icecorescientist and now its in your vid - man, I gotta get that soundtrack! I shall check out your site. May Joe Pesci bless you all!

  • great video!

I live in the midwest too

  • "I'd rather believe and be wrong while taking the universal good parts of Christianity..."

Why not the good parts from Islam? Or the good parts from the Hebrew faith? Or the good parts from Buddhism? Or the good parts from Shinto?

I'm betting your choice is based on culture and social norms; most of the people around you are Christian, so you play Pascal's Wager while not truly believing because it's expected of you.

  • You may be happy to "believe and be wrong," most religious people are like minded. Where I differ is that I actually care whether my beliefs are true.

  • Very nice vid ..well presented. Awesome. 5 stars.

  • very good. I'll check it out now!

(looks like you use pinnacle vid software, right?)

  • Yes, I did use Studio software by Pinnacle to create the video. Pretty decent software that I use to edit home movies mostly. However it does crash and lock up a little to frequently for my taste.

  • Yes indeed. Is there any that doesn't though? I'd like to know. I've lost hours to crashes.

    ;)

  • Yes. As Christian as the NAZIs, KKK, and other religious bigots. For the people who have given up religion, isn't it nice to be free of hypocrisy and hate? Peace!

  • Actually Bill Maher is not an atheist: "I believe in god I just give him more credit." He just has a problem with religion.

  • One does not neet to be an "atheist" to be included on my site. I think Maher may be more of a deist, and I have no problem with that. I would say most atheists have a problem with religion rather than the idea of god, and most have no problem with deists.

  • i've heard his guest call him atheist and he didn't argue the point.

  • I don't know the context but I think his priorities in this discussion were on other topics than the distinction between atheist and acnostic.

  • That music is completely creapy....

  • WOW what a great site. You have done a good job so far with this keep up the good work and thank, you i mean that.

  • you gotta tell the people what song you used or they will ask over and over again.

  • See the Video description for information on the song.

  • Wow, how'd I miss that?

  • hehe, I added it after your suggestion. Thanks!

  • What a lovely sentiment, very "Christian"

  • Thank you.

  • Great site, thanks!

  • This is amazing. Thank you for all your effort

  • It is an awesome site. I HIGHLY recommend it to all my fellow atheists.
