Tsunami Bomb and TAD are my favorite bands but I tend to not listen to them often at all due to the fact I only long for the good old days of travelling thousands of miles to see TB. In USA, Germany, all around UK. Brings a tear to my eye.

That is exactly my point, I also love TB and I see myself listening to it 10 years older then I am now. But take Brody Dalle from Spinnerette (former The Distillers) as an example...she could do some soft alternative rock and still sound amazing, but she really shines in what she do now. In the same terms, Emily can experiment as you said, and maybe reach her full potential.

I'm willing to concur but I think Brody Dalle needs to go back to Coral Fang and Sing Sing Death House and just think about where she was, where she is going, and maybe take a second shot at Punk Rock. Punk sure does miss her...

To be on topic: The Action Design is Tsunami Bomb 2.0. It isn't particularly revolutionary, it isn't lemonade but it certainly is an evolution of "Dawn on a Funeral Day."

I'm sorry, but I couldn't disagree more. What made Tsunami Bomb great was HER. Her voice gave an originality to them, it set them off from run of the mill punk. I think if she stated that TB restricted her then it was either the fault of the band, or more likely it was her fault for not being bolder in her approach. Innovation is the child of taking what you HAVE and making it into what you WANT. I think she should have just been a little bolder and really explored TB and their potential.
