I'm glad to see that Boykin On Boxing lives on here to the world. I always ended the show with some pretty good words that I still believe in...And so I end my post here with them..."Always let the better man "In You" emerge victorious." ;) -MB

I'm happy to see that he thought of this interview, from so long ago, as still very important in who he is, where he came from and what he is today. Really, I'm just happy he came on the show. :) And just so you know, we shot this in the foyer of my apartment with my dinky VHS camera, an unshaded lamp for lighting and my microwave oven counting down as a timer -- when it beeped at 27mins that's when I would start ending the show. :D
I have known many champions in my life, from Sugar Ray Robinson to Sugar Ray Leonard, from Muhammad Ali to Mike Tyson, Roy Jones, Jr., Evander Holyfield and countless others. But none that I have met is any more a champion human being than Leland Hardy.
I am proud to know him and prouder even still to call him a friend.
It's great to see this show posted here that I did with Leland a long time back. He was one of my first guests on the show, and I must say after all these years now he is just as brilliant as I first admired him to be. I remember being just blown away by his expertise in so many things beyond just boxing and I tried to make the world aware of it. Leland went on to be a successful boxer, sports agent and internet website mogul. On top of that, he is just a wonderful human being.
Boy, I was much younger then...:D But I'll say it again one more time LIVE for you here..."Hi fight fans, I'm Marion Boykin and this is, Boykin On Boxing." :)
Leland Hardy is a smart guy, who know all lot about boxing at that time , not only did he think it was possible for Douglas to beat Tyson, but also he was right about George Foreman being better in the 90's than he was in the 70's seeing that Foreman became a champion in 1994 against all odds.
