What is it with everybody that says that wii collects dust? I have all 3 next gen systems and my wii is the console i play on most. I love playing Animal Crossing Mario Kart Wii Galaxy 2 SSBB and many more awesome titles that you only can play on the Wii..

Man, Metroid Other M could have been so good. But it was too talky, and the first-person view actually pulled you out of the game rather than immersing you more like it should have.

My teacher has a wii ... he only says that to people who have a wii too , he plays mario galaxy music while we take a quiz ... nobody else knows what music is it they just say it's awesome .... yet everybody else , says they know more about our teacher... I was wondering if people here would know what type of game someone like me would like. I only just got a wii a couple of months ago, and so far my favorite game on the system is Okami. I have a lot of the 'must have' wii games like Super Mario Galaxy and Twilight Princess, but are there some more off the charts wii games, or just games I haven't heard much about, that you guys like? Keep in mind, I am only 16, so unless it's really good, I probably won't go out of my way to get an M game.

@ReighnDrac I case you're still looking I'd suggest Muramasa: The Demon Blade or Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon. Both were critically well recieved but are rather niche titles. If you aren't into games with a very Japanese flavor they might not appeal to you but for my part I love them. Also they're both rated T so you won't have any trouble picking them up.

I have around 32 games for the Wii, compared to the 18 games I have for my PS3 and 18 for the XBox360.

I try to get just the games I like, mostly Japanese style games, and I am really impressed with what the Wii has offered me in the last 5 years since it's debut.

I wanted to like Metroid: Other M, but the story and gameplay were deal breakers for me. First, the story has so many plot holes it isn't even funny. Since when did an independent bounty hunter like Samus suddenly have the gall to disable many of her suit's abilities out of respect for a military officer? Second, the gameplay didn't feel right. A Wii Remote only control scheme works for 2-D platformers, but is insufficient for a 3-D game like Metroid: Other M.

Yeah, the Wii has had a really great year. Epic Mickey, SMG2, DKCR, Other M, S&P: Star Successor, Super Mario All-Stars LE, Ivy The Kiwi, etc. I enjoyed Flip's Twisted World as well, but I know many didn't. It certainly lacked polish.

For Mega Man 11, I want to see them make it aq side scrolling platofrmer using the power of the current gen consoles., like they did with Mega Man 8. That was an awesome game. It had great grapnhics without sacreficing anything you love about Mega Man

Derrick, you kick ass, and I respect your opinion, but I must make it clear I hate Metroid: Other M with the fiery intensity of a 1,000 suns.

The writing and acting are worse than "Twilight", it makes Samus a whiney baby instead of a more human character, it's filled with plot holes, and that's just the story. The gameplay is awkward in 3D areas, and even worse when you strangely switch to first person. But, I'm glad you like it.

@RedYoshiReturns They barely scratch the surface. It's a unfortunate mishap that the PS3 is being stereotyped of just being graphic oriented, braindead, FPS war games. Though it doesn't have games like Mario Galaxy (which is an amazing game), it does have a lot of great games that are being pushed into obscurity, because nostalgic nintendo reviewers can't handle that another consoles does make video game magic. No hate on nintendo, but fanboys piss me off.
