i think its very dumb to say ohhh pele, maradonna, best, cruyff or anyone you can think of is the best! Why? Because they are all great in there own way. I think one whose underrated is ronaldo who had a lot of injuries, but still became worldcuptopscorer of all time and if you take a look at some goals he made for barca then it''s easy to see he belongs with the best as well. Maradonna made napoli and argentina champions while messi doesnt do wel at argentina so its hard to compare them...

Now I am not disrespecting him as I wasn't even born when best was playing, however Billy Meredith was the first football superstar. Best doesn't deserve this title. Before anyone slates me for saying this, just wikipedia him and look at his incredible achievements.

I hate people and it doesn`t matter who they are who drive a car while they have been drinking they put peoples lives at risk and thats what George Best done....he was an irresponsible idiot - thank god he died because there is someone walking around now who still has their life.

Imagine being a prodigy footballer as a teenager, a genius as an adult, add onto that his phenomenal good looks and charm, girls, drink etc...I think George did well just to be an alcoholic and not a dead drug addict like most rockstars of his time! He was a great person who was afflicted by drink, but I haven't seen many with more integrity that George Best.

He was better than top 3, he was the best ;-)
