99.98% of ACTUAL scientists believe in evolution. Explain the embriotic recapitulation of teeth in the baleen whale. explain embryotic recapitulation in general. Explain why roosters have genes soley for making teeth. Explain why the lower in the strata we find a fossil the more primitive. Explain why there are no poodles found in permian strata let alone ANY other modern animals. Explain how we can see light from stars billions of light years away. explain how 2 argentinosaurs could fit on ark
How come most of the people that don't believe in evolution live in the US? Maybe it's because of the high proportion of religous immagrants that founded the US?
Most of the founding fathers were free-thinkers... Not highly religious. That's why there is a separation of church and state in this country. It's also why the US has been so great.
Rome was a pagan society until Constantine converted to Christianity in 312AD. That is when Christianity went from a religion of social outcasts to a major player in regards to religious thought.
But you are right in that the US is highly religious at the moment.
The biggest problem I've found that I have with the theory of evolution is the Cambrian Explosion (which happened about 530 million years ago). Until this time, only simple celled organisms existed, and then within 70 million to 80 million years (an infinitesimal amount of time considering the length of time as a whole--basically 2 minutes out of a 24 hour day) most of the animal forms we have today were created. Exactly as they are now.
No none of them are exactly as they are now. That statement is completely false. As for the cause of the Cambrian explosion, multicellular organisms when they were made occupied a completely unexplored niche in the ecosystem.
then what about reverse enginearing the dna from a chickens cells.chicken(and a few other birds) cells have retained traces of dinosaur dna from the velocaraptors (please do the reaserch before you just spout on about me being wrong).how could that which has no relation to the previous form retain said form's dna?Just for u guys that dont feel like doing a little research.using genetic splicing scientists took the chicken dna stuck it in an embryo and got dinosaur characteristics as a byproduct.
This isn't helpful at all. Nearly all atheist (and even christian) scientists agree that evolution is true - it's the darwinian model of evolution that people doubt. Certain races diversify without the stimuli of death fro the environment, for example the human race is getting taller every generation - not because the shorter people are dying. The basic darwinian model does not explain this, as DNA cannot be altered by what you do in life. Do some research before you post on youtube.
This is laughable. creationism has a huge hole in it! It is Not science rather than an extension of the bible. This is a bad because it may distort the truth. Evolution may have a couple of holes but with research we will understand how life works.
What is absolutely tragic here is that he still totes around the absolute lie that god is an alternate 'theory' to the origin of life. To this day, there is no support for anything outside of the actuality of evolution.
Its pathetic how athiest rate him 1 out of 5 thinking that they made a difference
