What?!?!...No comments about nigger wheels just because Troy built the car? If that was some black dudes standing around this car, all the comments would be racist as hell with those wheels.
How come on just about every dyno video on here except 1 they let the motor come down with dyno? I dont know about yall but I know where the clutch is and gear shifter is and if I had even a 5k motor you better believe I know where neutral is!
@mediamain6 I guess I dont understand people like you and your comments, when we dug it out of the old shed were it was rotting away and full of mice, there wasnt a line of people standing there to purchase it or restore it,if you actually looked at it in person it has alot of stock appearing features and is enjoyed by most people that know the car or have seen it...........you can wipe the tears out of your eyes anyhow because it was an Imperial
@mediamain6 You need not understand "people like me" because likely you're incapable of that. You advertised the car under the heading 300B so who could have known it was an imperial? I guess the tears were in the way there because it was clear only in your head! Rotting away or not they deserve better than that. If/when you try to sell it you will lose in the end. That was my point when I said "SAD."
"Rotting away or not they deserve better than that." The only thing that response proves is that mediamain6 hasn't got a clue! Let me fill you in. It does not get any better than that! Rad Rides builds the finest, most valuable cars on the planet. This '56 Chrysler is no exception. It's SAD how narrow minded mediamain6's view is. It's SAD mediamain6 feels is necessary to bash somebody that doesn't share that narrow view of what everybody else should do with their cars.
@mediamain6 Are you aware Troy and his crew builds 6 figure cars? "They deserve better than that?" What could possibly be better? A year has passed since you said this, hopefully you've crawled out from your rock and experienced the world of Hot Rodding.....or at least the art of coach building, because that's what this car has underwent.
@69OldsNut You're way off base and YOU are showing your own lack of knowledge regarding cars.If you don't like my comment I'm fine with that but I have an opinion and it's just as valid as yours.Hot rods are cool until they impact already exceptionally rare cars such as the 300 letter cars and PLENTY of others. You can do what you will with your money and that's fine too but that doesn't make it right when it kills a historically significant vehicle which was my only point.
@mediamain6 You made your point. However, it's not like they butchered Harley Earle's Lesabre, or Harley Earl's 1954 Oldsmobile F-88.... While doing some quick research I found that the letter B series had exceptional milestones, and was infact coach built? Impressive. Maybe that's why they call this "Imperial a B" Homage maybe? I'm not showing my lack of knowledge, I learn everyday, we're all car enthusiasts here. You're showing disrespect to anyone who wants to argue against you.
@69OldsNut There are plenty of historic cars in museums and what not, let the hot rodding industry boost their value, because whether or not you want to admit it, the book value on Troys cars are way past the originals.
@69OldsNut Please don't lecture me about disrespect. I didn't tell anyone "hopefully you've crawled out from under your rock." I'm not disrespecting here, it was purely opinion based. My opinion doesn't affect anyone from doing anything with their own property.
@mediamain6 Of course I disrespected you....you had it coming. And....saying "YOU are showing your own lack of knowledge regarding cars" was disrespectful, what I had said in a few short 400 word comment box had nothing to do with my knowledge of cars. But at any rate I'm closing my argument. Have a nice evening.
I hope it was a real low mileage perfect condition 300B that they butchered all the original interior, mechanical, and chassis parts out of with an oxy acetylene torch.
@cptok Not bashing but stating an opinion. You say I don't have a clue but someone who regurgitated the nonsense you just did speaks volumes more about you than me. Ignorant, asinine, and foolish.
@SpeedFreakNO cause they are rare in original condition.but if the car was mostly rotten and no one wanted to restore i think this is a very nice way to save a car.
