It is not called the rapture it is the second coming. A rapture of the saved happens during the second coming and also the death of the not saved. Time is very short. I think satan is risen in many ways in the world today. I believe that the Muslim/Islamic belief system is a tool of satan for the last days in fulfilling the biblical prophecies, it is through that belief system you will see a false prophet rise and set up a one world religion (a process that has already begun). All of this in preparation for the Anti-Christ. I also believe that the Anti-Christ will be on the scene before the rapture.

I believe the rapture will take place first before the Trials of Tribulation. Because after the 7 year reign of the Anti-Christ, then the second coming of Jesus Christ will take place. That's just my belief.

Study the traditions of the ancient Jewish wedding, and see if it doesn't shadow the coming of Jesus. The Bible says we are appointed to wrath - there are many reasns why the chuch goes up before the tribulation- others come to the Lord during the tribulation and will die by beheading for that- read tommys comments on the wedding too - all Jewish models of compassion

@lsmith1981 First the church is not Israel. Noah wasn't in the water of God's wrath. He was above it. Safe in the ark. Lot was not in Sodom when God destroyed it. He was above it.Up in the mountains. The church will not be in the Great Tribulation. It will be above it. Caught up to meet the Lord in the air. If u want to be here and see the wrath or anger of God, then so be it. Man's tribulation is not the same as God's Tribulation. Obey Acts 2:38 God's plan of salvation.

I understood it. Stef because you cant accept it or dont want to believe it doesnt mean its not true. Archeology supports the Bible and science is day by day proving the Bible true. The Bible is enerrant, which means it doesnt say anything false. You can choose not to believe in jail. The judge will still tell the balif to show it to you. God will judge. Animals wont go to heaven or hell becuse they do not have souls. Humans are the only living things that have souls. Humans are animals, yes, but there is one thing that seperates humans from animals: we are created in God's image. No other thing on earth has that gift. And Christians are humans in that we don't want to die, we just look forward to the day that we will meet our risen king, Jesus.

I am ready too. Only one thing. There will be no Pre Tribulation Rapture. We Will Go threw the Tribulation again. You remember Exodus? the 7 Plagues? they were a set of instructions that GOD gave the people too do before Moses took them out of Egypt. Look at the Relation. 7 Years, Short Days, Antichrist. Killing Beyond Belief. Then after the years are up the Messiah YHWH will come for us. WE will all go threw it again. We just have too follow the instructions of GOd. and Disregard Fear.

I respect your viewpoint, and there are many Christians who share it. However, Christ is the Bridegroom who is returning for His bride, the Church. Study the traditions of the ancient Jewish wedding, and see if it doesn't shadow the coming of Jesus. If indeed we have to go through the Tribulation Period, we could date the time of His return, and we can't do that. However you feel about it, God bless you. You are family in the Lord.

@lsmith1981 You have no understood your Bible regarding the pre trib Rapture- please see the series - What will happen in the end times - and are we in the last days by Dr David Hocking. The Bible says we are appointed to wrath - there are many reasns why the chuch goes up before the tribulation- others come to the Lord during the tribulation and will die by beheading for that- read tommys comments on the wedding too - all Jewish models of compassion

@lsmith1981 First the church is not Israel. Noah wasn't in the water of God's wrath. He was above it. Safe in the ark. Lot was not in Sodom when God destroyed it. He was above it.Up in the mountains. The church will not be in the Great Tribulation. It will be above it. Caught up to meet the Lord in the air. If u want to be here and see the wrath or anger of God, then so be it. Man's tribulation is not the same as God's Tribulation. Obey Acts 2:38 God's plan of salvation.

This is a scripture from the Bible, the "hour of trial" is clearly the tribulation and God clearly indicates that His faithful church will be kept from the hour of trial; clearly pre-tribulation Rapture.

The resurrection or return to life of dead Christians (the main subject addressed by Paul in the context).
The simultaneous joining of those Christians and Christians still living with the returning Christ (not a separation of living Christians from the earth).

that those who remain alive at the coming of Christ have no spiritual advantage over
those who died. Said another way, those who have died are not at any disadvantage. All

The main point is explained in verse 14. The dead will be brought to life again. Paul
doesn't leave the subject there, but adds a time frame to this resurrection-"with Him,"
that is with the coming of Christ. Did he mean an approach by Christ or did he mean the
Second Coming? Nothing here justifies any understanding other than the Second
Coming. Neither is there any nuance of a "secret" coming.

Why, then, did Paul write 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18? As you read verse 13, you discover that Christians in Thessalonica were grieving over the unexpected deaths of members of the local congregation. Like Christians throughout
time, they apparently thought they would live until Christ returned. They were totally
unprepared for death of people in the faith. Paul wrote that there was no need for them
to be overwhelmed by grief as if there was no hope for life again.

What Darby interpreted to mean that Christ would come close but not actually return to
the earth are three words: "in the air." He took license from the fact that the verse
doesn't say that Christ actually returns "to the earth" to develop what has become
known as "the rapture." (Darby may well have been motivated by noble objectives, as
we will note later.)

It is the Greek for "shall be caught up" that is translated into the Latin rapere, the
linguistic basis some claim for the word rapture. But where is the theological basis for the doctrine? Where does it say here-or anywhere else in the Bible for that matter-that Christ will come near to the earth to remove Christians years before His prophesied Second Coming?

What is the scriptural basis for this enigmatic doctrine? None of the authors of recent decades is credited with the development of the rapture theory. That credit goes to 19th century John Nelson Darby, "a brilliant British theologian and preacher"
("Apocalypticism" by Paul Boyer, PBS Online, 1999).

@mlagares The view that the rapture is a Victorian idea is false and attempts to discredit Scripture. The early church believed in imminency and if you read it properly the last days term started at Pentecost. PLease listen to the YT series on David Hocking who will explain all these things in Scripture clearly to avoid you not being ready
