I always used my fingers for my 9s. Hold down the finger of which your multiplying by 9 and count the fingers to the left of that for the first digit and to the right of that for your second. Such as 9x6. Hold down your 6th finger. there are 5 fingers the the left and 4 to the right. The answer is 54.

Smart kid! But hes doing it in a long and awkward way. There is a pattern in the 9 times table. In every number its like a count down. The 10s go up and the single digits count down. Exmp:

See the pattern? But I learn't this when I was 10. I'm now 13 hes only 5! Makes me feel dumb XD! But smart boy! (: xoxo

hard math is easier than simple math in my opinion. in highschool i got high grades in algebra, geometry, and algebra 2 without knowing my times tables. I still wish i knew them though.
