Nice form. Good job on increasing your weights in 4 months. Im going to start 5x5 soon, so I will appreciate any tips. Also, I have a very important question apart from increasing weights and getting stronger in the 4 months, did you put on any muscle? Did you lose body fat?
@MMHussaini yeah man, i mean let me tell you, im not the most disciplined guy out there, its actually little over 5 months now that i have been training on stronglifts, prior to that i spent 3 months doing split isolated routines. well the thing is that even when i miss a day every one or two weeks, and i have missed 2 straight weeks like twice on my 5 month period (illnes and no money) i have of course gained muscle, not as much as i would like to but..
whats really driving me crazy is that even when you can see im a thin guy, i used to have like 23% body fat, and i used to do NOTHING (i ate a small bag of chips daily, lot of soda,a large pizza by myself every weekend ) and even when im working out hard now, and i watch my diet (high protein, as low in carbs as i can.. no sugar, no soda, no bread, no pasta, rice and beans 3 times a week the most) i might be around 17% body fat now. i know it sounds like a big improvement but we are talking abou
5 months of completley changing my lifestyle, diet and habits. i sleep way earlier now, i wake up at 5 am because of work but i still take a nap and try to sleep as much as possible on weekends.. and i havent seen like crazy improvements as i thought, people notices that i workout when i have my shirt on because i used to be skinny fat guy, and even when i feel i workout harder than most of the guys im noway near big or ripped as you can see. still this is a great routine, i love it
specially because of time saving. ill stick to it until i can reach 300 lb and then ill see if there is something better (not that this is bad at all) after building strenght foundation.
