AAA doesn't mean anything its to do with population i came from a small town with one team and we were single A because of that but we played in a AAA league and went 29-1-1 for the season. yes AAA usually does pick the better players for the team but it all depends on how well your team plays together too.

Ahhh.. Adam Deadmarsh was born and raised in Trail, British Columbia learning to play the game in Canada. The only reason he played for the states is due to the fact he could not make Team Canada and his mother was American who is now a naturalized Canadian.

Very few Americans play hockey compared to Canadians. Football and basketball are king here unfortunately. I'm sure if Americans played hockey in the same per capita numbers that Canadians did, you'd be talking differently? The USA has been churning out some pretty good players as of late. The last two 1st Round picks in the NHL draft were Americans, being Erik Johnson in 2006 and Patrick Kane in 2007.
