  • @noclassatall oh gosh, I don't remember exactly anymore, but probably around 3 or 4. I find if you are using grass-fed bones you usually don't need as many as factory farmed ones as they are sooo rich.

  • Great video and it was great seeing you're little cooking helper. Brought back a lot of memories *smiles*

  • awesome help:) thanks and have a great weekend:)

  • Great! i will certainly try the spicing shown in the video. i usually use buffalo bones in a pressure cooker though; cuts the cooking time down a lot.

  • Buffalo bones are really good, that is true! Unfortunately pressure cookers actually cook a bit too hot, so it is better to let it cook slower and longer in the end...

  • @hdelicious you might have something there. couple of weeks back, tried making lamb bone broth in a 1-gallon slow cooker on low letting for about 12 hours; worked out just as well as in a pressure cooker, flavor-wise.

  • That is so awesome!! A labor of love and realllyyy good food! I'm putting this on my blog today (TheSkinnyOnline) so folks can see how easy it is.Thanks!

  • hey thanks, it is easy and kids love to be involved...

  • Mikko knows what hot is (he has burned his fingertips before) so he is always very cautious not to burn himself.

Ruthie is an ER nurse and has seen kids come in covered with burns from grabbing a pot of boiling water off a counter, in fact Mikko seems to be more nervous of the scissors!

  • Your son is adorable but it makes me cringe seeing him so close to a hot pot.
