  • oh im sure they Play it up, they have to, thats how they make their money! but i guess you never know,so much happened there ,a little casper might apear every now and then lol

  • i worked there and never saw or heard anything, pretty much out of everybody that worked there nobody ever had any paranormal experience but played it up to people to keep them coming in for business

  • I miss gettysburg so much! We stayed in the Jenny Wade room!

  • @GBSightings17 did you like it??

  • @sanitationgirl2000

Yes, we did! We couldn't afford a lot of rooms so my mother, sister and I had to share a bed. A little cramped but it was a very nice room. We had beakfast the next morning and went up to the attic. :)

How did you like your stay?

  • @sanitationgirl2000 well, i just hated that there was no tv.things were going through my head but i didnt experience anything. on the other hand, my boyfriend woke up about 3,and felt as if he had a heavy chest, and said it felt as if he didnt get out, something bad was gonna happen. so we went out and got coffee, and he wouldnt go back in..so we found another hotel and it wasnt easy at that time of morning. but the cashtown inn was where we got a great E.V.P!! a man struggling to talk.!

  • this place is a dump

  • i actually agree.i would never stay there again, but we do like the dinners we get in the garden.

  • let me guess?

you had the "famous" game pie

  • i didnt, my boyfriend did. hes from the south and loves duck and quail

  • i went n we went in the basement. i had such a weird feeling about the corner behind me. i actually kept looking behind me expeting some1 to b sitting there.

  • they always say they see things!

  • The story teller at the Inn gave us a personal tour of the basement and inside the house. We started using a recorder, being psychic helps us hear and feel the spirits, but for many of our shows, we like to have EVP's for ppl to hear. Myself, my daughter and husband are all practicing psychic/mediums, the feelings we got in that Inn were unreal! There are many spirits in that home, you need to write them all down to keep track of them! We have some really nice EVP's from our brief visit.

  • @PsychicmediumDawn i totally agree with u and their are alot of spirits in that house and i know all of them and they like me and they always come see me when i stayed there and jermey is have become very fond of me and im psychic myself

  • ok does anyone else hear in this when she says "The Farnsworth" a voice come in "come back"? i'll listen again but she caught an evp lol

  • i caught a definate EVP from the cashtown and since i live on long island, im gonna have the paranormal team over here filter it out. it breaks in and says quite a few words and sounds sick!! im so excited. i just noticed it from 2007,cause we didnt pay attention and listen to all the recordings we did. its fascinating

  • that was my voice, i said "the farnsworth"! then i said "the back" it was the back of it.

  • My wife and I stayed overnight in the Sara Black room. It was late I can't remember what time it was, but we had just gotten under the covers and I was reading a book my wife was just going to sleep. I had my arm behind my head resting on the bed rail. I felt the bed rail push towards me like someone squeezed between the wall and bed post. We looked at each other and the next thing I know it felt like someone slid under the bed and was kicking the box spring from the bottom. It lasted 1min.

  • you no were the tavern is at the one wall there

is white dots on the wall dat is all the bullets

dat hit the house and sharpshooters in the attic i no cause i went up dare and the attic door opened by its self it scared the crap out of me but it was awesome

  • Yeah, it is very scary! I didn't stay there over night, but I did see the bullet holes. It scared me too!

  • Just stayed in there 1 week ago, stayed in the custard room...it is creepy ;) nothing happened btw

  • I've been there twice, and the second time I was there, my parents and I ate at the restaurant that's inside the building. The waitress came over with a tray that had a pitcher of water on it, placed it on a stand, walked away, and when she was gone, the pitcher flew off of the tray. No one was near it when it flew off. That really creeped us out.

  • there is definately something going on there. and i dont believe unless i see it myself. when i first went, i ate outdoors and fell in love with the place! we took the house tour and said i had to come back to stay. after being woken up at three a.m cause my boyfriend had a heavy chest and said we had to leave, i was so happy. i was so uncomfortable there and still cant think about it to this day!! i will never go back

  • this is a great place to go. they have amazing food, great service, a BEAUTIFUL tavern, and it's just plain neat to see.

my wonderful girlfriend and most of her family works there so i know a lot about the place.

any of you people interested in paranormal activity, check out the Sarah Black room. not only that, but i've heard stories of ghost entities appearing in photos in the basement.

  • where is this place again?

  • its in gettysburg P.A on baltimore st.i have to say, i saw nothing, but the place has an extremely heavy feeling.my boyfriend had to leave in the middle of the night and we stayed somewhere else. we were in the sara black room.he had a heavyness in his chest and felt like something was gonna happen if we didnt leave. very claustrophobic rooms, but its a place i would never visit again. morbid feeling

  • hey thanx 4 the info

  • Spent the night there in 06. Scariest thing about the place was how rude the staff was and how overpriced the food in their restaurant is. No, wait, THE scariest part is that the bathroom had a curtain, not a door, to the room. Nothing happened. We couldn't sleep all night because we creeped ourselves out.

  • i went in the attic and i just about passed out. it was really hard to breathe up there.

  • Oh, yeah, at 0:35, I went there a few summers in there and saw a Civil War reenactor talking on a cell phone. I just thought it was ironic to see a Union soldier on a cell!

  • satyed ther once myself

  • how did you feel there?

  • well didnt see any ghosts if thats what u mean. was ok we got to the bar and drank late, missed the ghost tour etc and had my fortune told which was 100% wrong lol.

  • i didnt see any eigther, but my boyfriend woke up at 3 a.m feeling heavy chested and wanted to just get out for air. then he didnt want to go back in!! hes a very realistic person too, no one i would think would be looking for attention or playing around. i was just uncomfortable. very uncomfortable but not scared.

  • just a hangover to make a long story short no ghosts.

  • ghost hunters did a show on the cash town, and they got some nice evidence. istayed there the night before. hearing footsteps around the bed all night, and got some freaky E.V.P.s was a nice place though

  • were you in the sara black room? did you feel anything?
