  • Hi---We had Loreal and loved him!!!! My son showed him and took him to Pony Finals. We were so happy to see your message! Can you let us know where he is now? He is such a great pony. Thanks!

  • I love this! I just wanna let u know that I own him now! i love him to death and im really glad i found him!! hes amazing :)

  • beautiful round!!! The ponies at my barn are nowhere near as fancy as yours!!! :D

  • I wish my horse could poop so gracefully.

  • What a good boy! He flips his change even in between jumps of a line!

  • With regards to the In or out of saddle I personally have done both but I find that in the saddle is better because it is easier to judge the fences. This is my preference and I have tried out of the saddle and had success with both so I guess I am easily adaptable

  • i have a pony that looks like him.

    great job!

  • I have to ride both ways. In the saddle with my mare, and out of the saddle with my gelding. But I perfer out of the saddle, it looks nicer. Also its more comfortable. But maybe its because I perfer hunters more then jumpers. And hunters seems to be more out of the saddle. Haha nice riding

  • yeah i think out of the saddle or more in the saddle really depends on what horse/pony you're riding

  • i agree

  • how many riders were there? .... u did pretty good overall i think you missed 3 distances... i THINK- i cant really tell but that's just my judgment. good ride

  • Hey guys thanks for all the comments. And I will be 16 on the 26th

  • who do u ride w/ and where did you keep this pony? on the freewebs web. i saw a pic where the barn looked familliar...

  • that was so good. I hope to be in the pony finals in 2010 with my pony prince charming but, you did SO good!!!!!!!

  • how old are you?

  • stunning ride =]

  • Hey um my friends pony (the pony i currently lease) went to pony finals in 2007 and showed in pony meadal his name was short notice check my page to seee if u have seen him

  • OOPS sorry...no offense but i thought u were a girl. can never tell in these show clothes!!

  • Great job! You make it look effortless.

  • cute ponyyy

  • o shut up people she did fine. her pony might have some trouble getting to the spots so she just sits a teeny bit. get over it.

  • Just wanted to say that, unlike on commenter, I really like how you maintain a straight line from elbow to bit and how your whole body is so quiet and forward in a traditional way. I'm tried of the sit, sit, sit stuff and the big moves over the jump. I wish more would ride like you in the hunter division--even though I know it's no longer "in" to ride like that, in some folks' opinions. Your form functioned great--the person who criticized had little reason to except FAD, not form or function.

  • The reason a lot of us sit before the fence is to a) reset the pony's balance. b) to drive them forward the two point simply falls into place. many ponies have big jumps for little kids, which is why the jump ahead, they are too small to ride any other way and still get a proper release, not catching their horse in the mouth. i really like his flat position, and his form is indeed functional, however; i would love to see him let go of his reins and find true balance, not balance of of the reins.

  • I competely agree with you. I was taught to ride more forward and out of the saddle. I like to see riders ride this way rather that to stay in the saddle. In my opinion it looks nicer.

  • forward for hunters or a really easy eq. horse is fine, but for eq on the flat and for tougher horses i think its good to sit.

  • how high were those jumps?????

  • 3' three foot for large ponies, 2'9" for large greens

  • 3ft 3=D

  • wait this is pony medal right?? cuz in my div. (the mediums) there were 112 or something. i also went this year n we got 6th overall!!

  • wheres ur shadbelly?? i was there showing my medium. i was there this year 2 we were 8th overall :)

  • The rider is male, his name is Ryan. That's why he wasn't wearing a shadbelly.

  • great job, you and the pony were grear especially with all of that pressure of the pony finals :D

  • one thing is bring your hands back to you you are pushing your hands out way to far

  • hahah i hate seeing the rider's forehead. just a pet peave.

  • me too. sure-fire way to look like a novice in my book. Bottom of helmet should be parallel to the ground.

  • Yeah I miss him!

    Hes a great pony

  • aww LARRY!

    I miss this pony!

He used to be my friend's pony wayyy back when

    Do you still have him??

  • no..we just leased him until after local finals...i loved him!!!

  • you have a bit of a bobble-head. but you ride the pony nicely. your videos are entertaining.good job! :)

  • is cuz her helmet is pushed back on her head instead of squarely on it...either too big or just needs to put it on a bit more forward on the forehead. beautiful round, awesome pony!

  • make sure you take more videos this year because your amazing to watch.

  • I remember watching you. You can kinda see me at one of the tables. My friend is infront of me. =) you did well.

  • Hey, you ride with Janet Salem at Patchwork Farm right? I live/show in Georgia and I remember seeing you at BJC shows wayyy back in the day. A little girl from my barn showed in the pony medal at GHJA finals...congrats on your win there

  • yes, I do ride with Janet. Thank you for your comment

    Ryan

  • God I love this pony1Hes got such a classic Hunter look, not that slow nose dragging type. I love it!

  • nice.

i think if you chill w/ the hands the pony won't swap so much, but it was a nice course nonetheless.

  • that is pretty good you looked amazing over the fence but you did a small "bobblehead" while you were cantering though, but still good job!!

  • How many riders were there???

  • around 82

  • O.O WOW

The show with the most people that I've competed in was around 15.

    Hahahaha

  • nice pony

  • omg your pony has the cutest jump ever!

    yall look really good

  • thats pretty good! congrats

  • really cute pony! good form! how'd you place? =]

  • 24th overfences, 48th hack, 42nd model and 27th overall. There were 82 total.
