@EdwardvsJacobFan Yeah, but he could have worked on this for a few weeks or even a week. On the show they shoot 5 - 8 pages a day / 50 - 60 page episode a week. So he doesn't get time to think about the way he is going to play it. One of the reasons, soaps have terrible acting, not only cause they suck, but they shoot 28 pages a day. An entire episode a day.

@ActuallyLiam That is not even a remotely believable excuse. What about Ed Westwick who works just as hard on the SAME SHOW, working with the SAME people on the SAME set as Chace Crawford? Westwick can act ten times better than him because Chace simply is NOT a good actor.

He is probably less experienced than Ed Westwick, I don't know. But really I don't know anyone who'd watch a show like Gossip Girl and expect amazing acting.

I've been an actor for 23 years now and for me, this is as good as it gets. It's so amazing to see an actor NOT acting....he is simply "Living In The Moment". Absolutely brilliant. I'll be very surprised if Chase doesn't one day win the Academy Award...all he needs is the right script, and he'll nail it.
