  • The best thing, is probebly if you live near a creek, with clean water, and get it from there.

  • Why is tap water so bad for us?

  • @Suckmyleftbean Clorine is not good for your health.

  • i drink tap water all the time D:

  • Sooo, if one can't afford to buy Kagen (?) water, and Sparkletts water isn't good either, then what's the best thing for a poor person like me to use??

  • 5:43 Is someone smacking their lips?

  • STRICKLAND PROPANE FROM KING OF THE HILL, AND HE LIVES IN TEXAS. OMG XDDD [Like]

  • @frankylovesyall Does one develop natural immunity to the effects of lead and arsenic?

  • @chiyerano i dont believe that you can develope and immuntiy to a poison such as those but thats only to my junior in high school mind

  • @chiyerano i dont believe that you can develop and immuntiy to a poison such as those but thats only to my junior in high school mind

  • How is there ABSOLUTELY no mention of BOILED water and homemade filtration systems? Astounding?!

  • I drink bottled water. However I'm going to be purchasing a reverse-osmosis system someday.

  • Thanks for addressing the alkaline water filter. Appreciate that knowledge and it was not just a hoax.

  • Its more shocking that we have all these different types of chemicals in our water and there's no outrage about it. It doesn't matter what type of fliteration system you have, small fragments are still going to remain in your water. The honest true is that it doesn't matter what type of water you drink, it will all have side effects to your health and is just another piece of proof that our government is useless when it comes to these issues. Hexavalent Chromium found in tap water is just sicken

  • @unbiasedbob They want to kill you, but that is too radical of truth that you will never hear on TV. Cancer is a leading cause of death and it is preventable in a significant # of cases.

  • Sorry, one more question; I've heard that tap water is not safe for goldfish, so that when I change the water in the fish tank, I should leave the water out overnight for the chemicals to evaporate. Do you know if this works for drinking water too?

    Thank you in advance.

  • good stuff

  • I think people should be just fucking glad that they have clean drinking water.. I mean seriously -try going to the third world and drinking out of a polluted pond. If you're drinking tap water (like me) you are doing a hell of a lot better than drinking colas or sugar fruit drinks. Most water experts and chemists will tell you the amount of harmful chemicals in tap water is so minute that it hardly bears any concern.

Be thankful for christsake that you have good - FREE - water from a tap!

  • @bluesgurugod

    It's not "good" water.

It's recycled WASTE with fluoride (a neuro-toxin) added.

We're unable to start a civil war (which we sorely need) because the majority of people are dumbed down by the fluoride and too apathetic to understand the danger we are in right now from our western governments.

I'd rather drink natural, 3rd world water with mud in it than the "clean" water here with chemicals and poisons added.

But thankfully I have the money to choose spring water. :)

  • @SteveFusionX No you wouldn't.... Furthermore most places do not have fluoride in their water - not where I am at least.

  • @SteveFusionX OMG! I sooooo agree. I would rather do the same. The Peruvian Andes diet is sooo much healthier than the US diet --my body craved the peasant porridge I ate when there (stayed with a local Indian family) Or when I was in West African Peace Corps and we had to strain out the mud and worms and such. That water with schisto and giardia and such is MUCH HEALTHIER than all the things I can't see in what I have to drink now!

  • @bluesgurugod Its more that they add the fluoride in on purpose to hurt people slowly and it just sucks because they are ruining perfectly good water.

  • @bluesgurugod wow. the only people who say this are folks who've never lived in a 3rd country. Things aren't as bad as US citizens are made to believe. So sad, but true. I've never met immigrants (not refugees) that didn't at some point, intend to return home once they made as much money as they could in the US. That's because the QUALITY OF LIFE is far better elsewhere.

  • Is it OK if I boil the tap water before I drink it?

I've been drinking bottled water for the past 10 years, but my friend says the plastic bottle is bad for the water, so she said to drink tap water, but I've been boiling it first. I will try to go out & get a water filter next week. Is Britta the best filter to get? I heard you mention it. Sorry for so many questions.

  • @sakuramari Research the effects of Biphenol-A :D

  • @emilykbisignano Thanks for the info, After your advice, I Googled & found it on Wilkipedia.

  • @sakuramari

boiling water won't get rid of the fluoride.

Btw - i've used fluoride-free toothpaste for many years now, my dentist said my teeth have never been in such good condition (no fillings)

Fluoride is a big lie that's been sold to our western populations. I recommend looking into it.

Hilter used it in the concentration camps to keep people docile and dumb.

  • @SteveFusionX Do commonly available water filters effectively filter out flouride?

  • @FletcherHabit

common filters won't get rid of fluoride.

You need to look into "reverse osmosis" filters (attached to your pipes) which can cost hundreds..

I just buy bottled water and check to see that it's fluoride free. There are websites you can go to that compare the fluoride and mineral contents of brand water (as they sometimes don't state)

As another note on this - some foods and drinks are naturally high in fluoride such as black tea, it's worth researching.

  • @SteveFusionX Thanks. Do the filters get rid of flouride? I've been using Aquafresh, so I guess I should look for flouride free, too. Thanks for the info. I wonder if I can get it in Japan or not.

  • @sakuramari Floride is tough to filter. It's very microscopic. I know of no filter that gets it all out from my searches

  • @sakuramari Does Japan even add floride to thier water?

  • @weelgunny Thanks. After you asked, I Googled it, and yes they do, but apparently they try to keep it below 0.8 or something like that. If what I read was correct.

  • @sakuramari The only type of filter system that I have seen to have any effect on fluoride is a reverse osmosis system. Berkey makes an fluoride filter attachment, but I don't know if it has any substantial effect.

  • @notyranny1

lol that was funny.. I must have been typing my response at exactly the same time as you (about the reverse osmosis filters)

    I love synchronicites :)

  • @notyranny1 Thank you. I found one on a site when I Googled. They said it filters out many other chemicals too, about 95% of some of them. It was a bit expensive, but they had a half price offer. But it was in GB-Pounds, so not sure if they sell it in Japan or not. However, I will keep researching more. Thank you or your advice. I appreciate it :)

  • @SteveFusionX are you saying distillation will not remove fluoride?

  • tin can sound.

  • I drink bottled water because tap water tastes disgusting and it gives me stomach aches... At least where I live.

People need to remember that tap water is different everywhere. There's no generalization with it. In Hollister, CA the tap water is literally brown. So there's no point in telling someone tap water is the same as bottled, because it's not always the case.

  • What a bad soundquality, its sometimes hard for me to understand. That sucks!

Get your water from fruits and vegis, then u dont need to drink water !

  • this guy just just stick to eating cheezburgahs. Making excuses on his wisedom teeth. Did he was them remouved from his stomach as well?Tap water is great, if your sectors has it purified with chlorine, then get a Brita system if you can't bare the taste of it. Or esle, tap water is perfect. Aquafina is bottled tap water anyway.

  • @KnightsofEmerald

You have no idea how wrong you are, but keep trusting that poison tap water..

  • IT's just water: H2O. If you don't like the taste or iron and algae than use a Brita or PUR filter. the filter eliminates 99% of lead, it reduces chlorine, bad tastes and odors and it reduces sediment.

  • what do think about fiji bottle water,is it the best water to drink?

  • @wise7531 ??? Just drink tap water.

  • @wise7531

It's the most expensive, that's for sure.

  • Atmospheric water generators. they MAKE water out of the air, and filter the crap out of it. the main one i know of is called Ecoloblue. around $1000. not bad.

no more fluoride, arsenic or lead!

  • Very good information and discussion. Thanks. Happy holidays and a happy new year.

  • It didn't really answer a lot of questions. I though spring water was best.

  • I'm eating rice and beans right this second

  • what is reverse osmosis water?

  • I cook with and drink distilled water. My water distiller was less than $200. I do enjoy drinking distilled water. Happy holidays to you also.

  • @chiyerano Please share where you got your distiller from. Thanks.

  • @bootfruity My distiller is a basic model from nutriteam. It was relatively inexpensive, on sale, and had received good reviews so I decided to get it for use and try it. Before, I used to purchase gallons of distilled water from the store.

  • @bootfruity They have models with your choice of glass or plastic collection containers. I got the glass one.

  • @bootfruity Megahome distiller with stainless steel chamber.

  • Thanks for the info vids I am a new

Comer and will be tuning in more often

  • I appreciate the informative video, thank you and happy holidays to all in Austin!

  • Joseph, great video! Don't listen to the haters of the world, cause that is all they have at times, plus they may be drinking unfiltered water which is full of discarded meds. Personally I drink mineral water and make tea with filtered tap (Pur).

  • @depenaproductions You idiot, there are no trace amounts of pharmaceuticals in tap water. you don't think Pharma wouldn't have done something about this by now if it was supposedly a major dilemma? FREE medication in tap water in drinking water???.

  • @gongoozler18 obviously, you drink tap water good luck in life...

  • @depenaproductions You obviously don't like using punctuation. Good luck getting a job,

  • Natural Artesian Water + Alkaline = Water that you should drink.

  • Good info. If anyone is looking for a good glass water bottle try Voss artisan water. They have to sizes of bottled water to choose from and the bottles are tough.

  • agree

no mention of side effects of alkalisers, can they leak aluminium, and how do the stomach handle it?

citrus fruits should be good since they only gets alkaline when broken down?

I also put a tiny pinch of sea salt in 2 liters of water (good with iodine).

i personally use distilled water when i dont have naturally spring water i get my self. (But this spring is ph5)

I get more hairloss with tap water

what are the best passive filters?

    any without plastics?

    anyone tried Adya Clarity?

  • Fluoride was my main interest but not much was covered here. Merry Christmas.

Peace. Birthdays are not the same for everyone, so will it be incorrect to wish someone, Happy Birthday?

  • Fuck them if they dont like it. Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS and PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!!!
