the effect does not require ping command in it!

ping connects to a server or file or computer that may give you a virus!

what you do is type fore a real virus free one is=

the amount you need to put %random%'s varies by your computer.

guys basically your giving a batch title than a color and then telling it to put up some letters so

:START-this could be anything

COLOR 2 - this is green and black also could be any color

ECHO- after this you can type anything, just a free text command this is where you make the matrix part of the file

GOTO this is where you type in the begining part in my case it would be start, all your doing is sending yourself back to this file over and over again save as a .bat file

^copy and paste that into notepad...

Go to: file, save as... save it to the desktop as "matrix.bat" (without the speech marks).

Then, open it. Hope this helped. :)

do not make the 'ping localhost -n 1' and '> nul' lines seperate

it is all on line like this, ping localhost -n 1 > nul

this makes the cmd prompt send a blank document to you internet connection, and back to check your ping level, so it simulates a pause. the slower the computer you have the longer it takes!

You can experiment with the colors to it dosent just have to be 02 :D but you have to have the 0(and whatever numbers you want here)

@sillyguy0 I want to make a few comments, not meaning to be mean, 02 creates a dull green, the Matrix uses a bright green, so use 0a, and instead of randoms, try putting only 1's and 0's, like in binary, what it actually is.

then later on in the code "goto PointName". anything in the middle will be repeated
