LotusRC T580P is back with Upgraded ESC

If I can't get a new ESC from Lotus RC what ESC do you recommend for the T580P plus?

I QUICKLY unplugged the battery and I could smell that something might have burned so I opened the top and looked around but, found nothing that had burned. I thought great nothing happened to the circuit board. I waited a few minutes and decided to try it again....NO SMOKE and it beeped three times and then it beeped twice after that. I gave it some throttle and nothing happened when I say nothing happened no lift no nothing! I need help! Thank you!

Hi Ali! Man I have an issue with the T580P PLUS. This afternoon I thought I would try to fly it and guess what happened! I plugged the battery and the T580P started to smoke and the propellers started and it flipped over all with out me even touching the transmitter.

Wonder if you could use a shotgun Microphone instead of the built in? If so you would eleiminate the rotor noise and have sound only from the direction the camera is pointing.

hey ali! what can you tell me about the huricane XTE? from what i can see it looks alot like a hpi trophy flux. is this true? it also shares many similarities with the kyosho infenro 7.5 in electric form.

@soccer4209 it is the puffed up pack mate hahaha. we use them until they loose the current and volts in one or more cells, then we put a nail through them :D

FOS (Flip Of Death) has been a termonology that has been used many Years ago, also a few Years ago o n the Silverlit X-UFO which still had a mechanical Gyro in it and ones you fliped it and landed it hard upside down the Gyro was Dead, thats where the Term FOD came from and NOPT form  the LotusRC

Ali try a Multiwii or a Copter Control or a TMF Pro or a Free flight or a DJI Naza flight controller with NORMAL esc's and then tell us what flies better ;) we've already seen the video or if your feeling flush get the DJI Wookong M and see how much things have really changed since the release of the t580 TOO LITTLE TOO LATE :(

@0n3m1s1s0 well I know all those flight controller and of course german Multikopter is the best for now. DJI is way too expensive for the things they sell. not worthy i believe. there are better systems out there. Trying to get my hands on XA 650V2 ;)

No this looks like a way more cost effective way to film with the new GOpro2's instead of risking my 7D on a chopper... What do you think a fully loaded FPV film rig would run cost wise?

Need maximum flight time too... So the best battery on the market X 2 :)
