I've clicked the link it provides, and have clicked help, and have tried all the options for fixing it. but it still wont work. :(

That's because it's your own fault. The trial doesn't delete your trial character. Even if you buy the game it is just saved on whatever email account you used.

Ok, ive got a problem, whenever i go to install it, someway along the bar, it doesnt matter what completion i have, but after a while, it says "cannot blah blah blah, please close all applications.."

so, i closed EVERYTHING i could, the only thing i left on, was my AVG and my Wireless Netgear wireless adapter connection (to get me onto the internet) but it STILL says it. i have no game disks in my pc and i am really pissed.

No, you can free trial classic WoW or Burning Crusade. Those are the 2 trial options.

ext=extension #. and no u do not have to put that in if u dont have one. put your normal number and dont forget the area code if that dosnt work i dont know whats wrong,i made a trail account a few days ago cause something was wrong with my normal one..lol
