I was at this show very at the Wharton Center. It was SUCH a good show, he gave an awesome performance. Tristan Prettyman was a great opener for him, too. I felt kind of bad for him that the audience hardly took up any of the theater.

He's had some substance abuse problems, which culimated in him assaulting a couple fans and an airline stewardess. That's so crazy, it seems so unlike him. He's been to rehab, and will have a new album out in 2008.

Oh, wow. I hadn't heard about his brother. However, I'm afraid these incidents happened in 2004 and 2005, and his brother died in 2006.

In 2004, he allegedly locked a fan in the bathroom of his tour bus, and then got physical with her friend, breaking her phone when she tried to call the police. Then in 2004, he was taking pills and alchohol on a plane, and got verbally abusive to a stewardess, and harassed other passengers. As for his brother, I don't know how he died.

What do you mean? Have a career? He was sentanced to fines and probation, and he's gone to rehab. He hasn't done anything to ruin his life over. He behaved like an asshole, but hasn't done irreperable harm. I hope he's properly ashamed and repentant, and can turn himself around and not do stuff like that anymore. "Australia" is one of the best albums I've ever heard.
