Learn! get u a banjo and learn! don't quit.. only way u can do it.. encourage your self. don't let other(s) get u down either. if u wanna play the banjo and love it. just go on youtube there are plenty of videos.. get good play cripple creek and i will show u a vid how to play this.

@LennyWhorton Is the banjo an easy instrument to play? I am considering looking for a banjo and learning. I tried guitar in high school and somewhat learned it.

He's exactly right. I'm really 15, (profile says 16) but I was lucky enough to grow up (still growing up haha) in the mountains and learn banjo and a variety of other instruments. Get you a good cheap banjo (I HIGHLY recommend an S101, resonator or open back) and just learn the basics and go from there. Especially from watching this man in the video. He's a dang fine banjo player.
