What you do at 1:40 is how one would train muscle-memory; the second version is how one would actually respond using that training. Problem is, too many instructors don't really know how to fight, and either can't or won't teach combat-effective self-defence; they pander to the "wimp element" both in their students and themselves.
I like the way you covered his hands and front leg in the first example; very nice.
Great stuff. Love where you're coming from. This real world escalation of violence training is what's sorely needed in todays martial arts classes. Big thumbs up
i've never really been in any real world violence, and anything that has come close, I've managed to negotiate my way out, but looking at that, I'd think my first reaction would be to knee the guy in the bollocks as hard and as often as i could. I like the krav maga ideology, and i guess it's how i've interperited it, hit them til they can't hit back!
Awesome video you give some awesome tips. I always watch your videos and i have now started MMA because there are people that will try and attack you for no reason and i just want to know i can protect my girlfriend when we are about walking to places. Thank you for the vids!
Amazing stuff like always! Really helpful in a real situation! Keep vids up guys! Never stop them!

its great, but be careful that you don't give the attacker your back as you move your left hand forward

I'm trying to come up with some realistic drills for the LU TKD club I sometimes help run. Thanks for the video.
