CONT'D They might prepare physically & mentally for the fight for 2, 3 or 4 months, & it all comes down to 3 - 5 minute rounds, or at most, 5 - five minute rounds. In Jackson's case, he's saying that it wasn't even the loss, that it was something else. Fighters minds' are very interesting. I've worked with a lot of guys, both amateur & pro, & even some famous pros. But they are all similar when it comes to being mentally prepared, & it can make all the difference in the bout.

I'm a fan of Jackson, just like everyone else, & if you remember, Forrest took a loss really bad too. His fight with Ortiz, (awful judging), & Forrest broke down in the end. Anyone who knows anything about combat sports knows that Forrest took that
2nd round, & 1 of those judges scored it 30-27 round. BTW, I'm a certified judge, & work on my city's Athletic Commission, so I do know what I'm talking about. Guys collapse at the end b/c of the pressure/release. Not b/c they lose.

To get a beter understanding of what happened to Jackson watch the youtube clip of "Dana White on the Rampage Jackson arrest." The guy was not doped up or drunk, he was in a state of delirium brought on by a religous fast he had perged himself on and completely dehyrated his body after his defeat to Griffin. maybe it is in his best interest to fight. sometimes not having anything to do gets people in more trouble and hurts them more than if he had something to do. You know like train for a few months, training all day. It would keep his mind focused on something and give him something to do. Dana's a smart enough man to risk a draw like quinton. I'm sure he talked to him first before he put him in the fight.
