I wonder when this was filmed. It had to have been in the 70's since I remember this as a kid. However, I thought that lattice work on top of the Port Authority was added in the late 70's/early 80's when they built the North Terminal. I could be wrong, though.
i knew the bus terminal looked familiar in Manhattan and second, did 10 diffrent buses actually leave at various times or was one clip of a bus portioned for a loop?
No such luck. Almsot all busses out of Port Auhtority these days are MCIs (designed, I believe, in Canada). I always found Bus No. 3 to be the odd one out because it was so old looking.
It is indeed the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan, way before the New Jersey Transit, DeCamp, Academy, Ren and Tan, and Coach USA buses ruled the temrinal, getting people to and from the city.
I ride MBTA buses. Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority buses.

The 6th bus was, and is currently, the DeCamp #33 West Caldwell, N.J./New York line.

they still use the nice old busses? aw that's great. Here in Vancouver everything is all new. busses nowadays are uncomfortable and heartless.
